Ok,then try full flash .ftf using link i given,if after the flash,keyboard seams ok,then it seams u try using fota after then. If cant solve oso using .ftf,dunno arr. Try cwm repair permission.

Ur probs is just layout rite? Did u use the .zip of QWERTY layout? How come cant solve oso. Aiyak. About kernel,u flash proper kernel rite?

kernel? i follow u guys punya tutorial mar..now with su ready, just that i cannot alter the setting in the keyboard layout via script manager..my fren say need use something like terminal to alter the setting if changing the script manually using script manager canot be done, but he not sure also coz he use iphone..

i tried this, but 'cannot save changes'

i sense that my rooting is not very complete, although superuser icon is around, and su is granted to my script manager. i cannot overwrite anything in the system....


i need a proper guide to re-root..can i just reroot like that?

u flash the baltic one is no use la .
if u update it .
it'll recognze ur phone as baltic one .
then it'll flash back with the baltic one .
dats y ur kyboard issue still not solve .

flash ur phone wif GB .58 global fw from the link that i gave u before .
then update to ICS using sony pcc .
that'll fix ur kyboard issue 4 sure .

^ yea2.. ics suck battery like hell.
30 minutes browsing 20% gone and then got bugs pulak tu.. Hard to copy paste words at stock and chrome browser..
Btw, did all of you encounter chrome peeling like xperia arc?

I think ur say is true. Lol,ics got many version,but GB got only international version and american version. But then,he say b4,he use .62 GB to update to ics using fota update. Aiyak.

Yeah,battery damn much consume. Already do wipe battery stats,still no luck. Got bug also

SiuYi, did you try SUS to latest update WITHOUT ROOT/Unlock and see if the physical keyboard works. As suggested by others try look for Global firmware if you are self-flashing using the flashtool.
