i only know i = international. but the firmware structure is different between both. custom rom for mk16i does not suit mk16a. so if u are buying an ap set, avoid mk16a. it is very very very very very troublesome.

the mines, booth K30 or K45, MEDA Communication. they sell only authorized sets. i bought my PRO there. can consult the sales lead lady named Sany. request for the colour u want. last time i went there for PRO, they display black and red, then LYN says silver PRO is rare, so i ring her up for silver. she confirm back with me after 10mins saying her HQ got silver, summore never open up before the box. sealed with authorized sticker, everything virgin.

screen protector problem? can ejas the contrast setting and on/off bravia.

i think at nearest time, not probably. now they are using those jap-concept designs from jap phones for the 2012 series. i dun think qwerty hp is a trend in japan.

u needa tidy up ur internal memory. yup, it doesnt went low in memory somehow when ur gaming or surfing. multitask more than 3 apps at 1 time will affect much too. to settle such issue, try v6 supercharger for a change of ram management.

u want better solutions, but u dun wan root ur phone. it is useless then. u wan to have a faster ride, but u dun wan modify ur car engine compartments, what's the deal there? faham? regarding play and pro, i duno much.

however, just to conclude my personal opinion, PRO is like not a very very smooth qwerty phone for me. there is still room for improvements. im looking into the future qwerty slides from SONY for the coming new concept batch.

u can get ICS generic rom and flash it in with flashtool or equivalent third party softwares from xda by then. will wait for rooted ICS rom for PRO instead of the generic rom.

u cant do anything to the system without rooting it. to alter setting to the rom PERMANENTLY, u need access to the system, where rooting is required. if the app provides ram management without rooting, i doubt it really can do it or just simply boasting or duping u all around only.

ok. u unlocked ur bootloader, u have .58 rooted fw in ur PRO now. u want .62 rooted fw in ur PRO now and u duno how.

1. flash this rom into ur unit with a 3rd party software such as FlashTool or equivalent stuff.
Generic MK16i (Pro) 4.0.2.A.0.62 (1251-0386) (Android 2.3.4)

2. fastboot ur PRO, install this kernel in.
BOOT KERNEL WITH CWM AND ROOT FOR ST18i and MK16i BASED ON 4.0.2.A.0.62 FIRMWARE

siuyi never did this coz .58 rooted fw is just fine. do at ur own risk. end story.
