Both sharing the same lens and technology however there might be some problems with Lumia 900 camera firmware, it was reported that the camera does have some color hue problem at the camera center and blue noise at darker parts of the image on some deviced, not all but you have to admit that the details produced by the camera is superb.  brows.gif

Hopefully future nokia updates can address this problem.

Nonetheless, the camera is a decent camera.  laugh.gif

No I mean the lumia 800, cuz it sucks at low light but lumia 900 with the same cam does so well.

Haha, true such small camera sensor in the phone, we couldn't ask for more but to rely on the noise management system in the firmware. sweat.gif

So when the 800 gets the same firmware as 900, the camera will become the same?

Sadly no, the latest firmware for 900 doesn't address the camera problem, at least I see no improvement on the changelog.

yo! I see some of us are eagerly to get the update. No major update that increase the overall performance but instead:
Lumia 900 version 2175.2101.8779.12201: Enhanced sensitivity for proximity sensor performance and improvement to your phone’s screen colours in low light conditions.

And according to local Nokia site, still no news about the update but I see Camera Extras are available for Lumia 800 & 710. However you may try the NoDo update trick mentioned in other lumia thread by apecx92 if you're very desperate to get the update. Also camera extras will be made available during the mid or end July. smile.gif

is the echo problem very serious? cannot fix even send to service center? is very annoy if set to 6-7 volume level? if set to 6, can you still hear the voice from opposite?

by the way, got any other issue with lumia 900? i've checked that capative button auto enable when ON with loud speaker...
