You need to download the lens firmware to fix it.

Yes, have updated the lens firmware to 2.0. The noise still persist although less obvious during power up. Else the noise still noticeable.

Yes normal. The 18-55 has an internal focusing motor and is very very quiet and smooth. The 35mm can be heard and felt during focusing.

Thanks for making me feeling much better with start of 2013 biggrin.gif

Hmmm..... the phase detection split focusing on the new X100s looks really nice! Won't be long before the XP1s/XE1s are released.... Oh no.... More $$$.... :-(

estimate end of this year you get the xpro 1 upgrade version and early next year the xe1 upgrade just like how they launch their products. But man this equipment do cost a bomb.

Happy X10 user here.

I saw my dealer here in Brisbane had this camera with Pro 1 + Fujifilm 18MM F2.0 + 35MM F1.4 combo for only 2900 AUD which include 10%GST than can be claim when on the airport. Is this consider good deal?

Is this camera meant for more advanced user? I am thinking buying this to complement my x10 & I am coming home for holiday so would be able to claim tax too

X mount lens i think more or less similar in price, now XP1 in many country going for much less than they are and competing with XE1, so i'd say it's quite an expensive combo. might as well get XE1 + 35mm (RM4500+- i think) + RM2000+- for the 18mm and still end up RM7000 or less. 2900 AUD is around RM9000, -10% tax is still more than RM8000, i would buy Sony RX1 instead. biggrin.gif

Any functional difference between xp1 and xe1 apart from the different body design and the hybrid rangefinder type viewfinder?

What happens can't see any new update for X-e 1? The last firmware was 1.01 for body and 2.01 for lens.

XE1 over XP1 = built in flash that's able to tilt up, smaller size, mic input

299 USDollars leh ):

Silky pix is such a pain. It lags and my pictures are super noisy.

Need to tweak the NR but it lags when doing so...

wah can get for free?!!!

Gonna try to look for it now.

Thanks so much weih. I heard it's one of the better alternatives to process fuji's RAW files but when I went to the site I was shocked...

Edit: Are you talking about Capture one 6 express? the one that costs 79 euros? Sounds more reasonable pricing for a college student like me. How much is it after conversion? I'm assuming you bought it as well

only Capture One 7 will be able to process the fuji RAWs unfortunately...
eh, you mean Capture One 7 do not have express version?

I am still using the 6 as I don't see the point in upgrading it yet (don't have the new cameras)
