i'm getting kinda lost navigating the phone......
transition to android is not as smooth as i would have liked...
1) how to add chinese to the default android keyboard?? can't find chinese as an input option anywhere....
2) why would calender require a second gmail account to be key in?? any idea how to make it stick to the default gmail account??
there is no way for the default keyboard to input chinese at the moment.
you can however install a 3rd party keyboard and switch your keyboard when you need chinese input.
There are plenty of keyboards for you to choose from, you can pick the one you like the most. The ones that can do chinese input well so far...
TouchPalSogouGo keyboardYou can also try downloading Swype from
hereFor calender, I didn't have to log in another G Mail account... there must be something wrong somewhere?

Hi all nexus sifu~~
would like to clarify something from this phone before im decided to buy it...
"Rapid-fire typing
Dozens of improvements to auto-correction and touch recognition make the keyboard feel natural. A new inline spell checker lets you quickly edit misspelled words. It's never been easier to type long emails or messages on your phone." (source taken from nexus website)
How was it?? cause always heard iphone will auto correct the word and bring trouble to user
"Type with your voice
Galaxy Nexus listens. Simply touch the microphone on the keyboard and start talking to write emails, SMS, or any other text—more than 20 languages supported. Text appears in real time, so there’s no waiting for server processing." (source taken from nexus website)
And is this applicable at msia?? anyone use before? is it oki and the accuracy on getting correctly on what we're saying... of course i understand that proper english are needed for sure...
"Quick response
Can’t take a call? Now you can fire off a quick response rather than just ignoring the call: a canned text message reply is just a touch away. You can even create your own quick responses." (source from nexus website)
are this applicable to msia as well? how it works? thanks for explaining to me, noob here XD
thanks in advance for all sifu~~
have a nice weekend
regards
1. Absolutely yes. The ICS keyboard is amazing. I'd say one of the best if you prefer to type instead of swype.
2. It works. Accuracy depends on your English (or any other language) accent I guess, but it works.
3. Yes, its applicable.
So in short yes, yes, yes.
