Many people complained juice defender turned off their 3G. Even after uninstall also cant enable 3G back.

Btw how to know if this phone already has flash player?
*
I guess that's how Juice Defender works, it controls your connections for you. I personally not seeing the point though, some people might want to try it to see if it works.

You should have an app called Flash settings if you have Flash installed, or check your apps in app manager

ya meh? @@ so its considered bloatware also? lol
*
nope, its just a third party app. lol

what I mean by "it is not part of Android" is that it is not owned by Google, so of course it doesn't come with the phone by default. Its like Whatsapp, its an app that most people will install, but still it is not part of Android. smile.gif

QUOTE(sordanny @ Jan 16 2012, 12:34 PM)
its only 4.0.2 dry.gif

guys anyone experiencing sudden lag when playing games? im playing MegaMall Story and i get sudden lag in every around 10 seconds.

tried on
Stock ROM
Android Revolution HD ROM + Stock Kernel
AOKP + Stock kernel

still feel the same.
*
I play Astro planet story, mine just crashes randomly, I'm assuming its compatibility issue. It also lags before crashing. hmm.gif

However every other games works fine though (I mean those that works in the first place).

QUOTE(djlah @ Jan 16 2012, 12:58 PM)
meant my clock on top right status bar, it's will stuck on certain hour and not moving..
but I have check lockscreen, widget and inside setting, the time reflect correctly.
this is weird, not sure what's the root cause. I just restart the phone, back to normal.
I guess it's very intermittent issue.
*
oh, I haven't notice anything like that. My clock works fine... btw I set mine to be at the center if that helps. laugh.gif

Actually I am not sure the kernel now is default or not since it is different from what you have previously. I flashed Apex V5 kernel before then reflash AOKP without reflash the kernel. The final kernel is showing as below. I found the battery life with this kernel is very good. Use it together with AOKP. Will continue to monitor it before change back to Apex V5 kernel.

3.0.8-g8e0f3bc android-build@apa28#1
*
every time you flash a ROM you have to reflash the kernel you want, because when you flash a ROM, it will flash the kernel with the one that comes with the ROM.

it could be due to Juice Defender... lol

but I don't think installing too much apps will cause your phone to become slow

It's actually a brilliant implementation. smile.gif

If you've used a Galaxy Nexus you would know why.

No shortcut...only way is to Root your phone and mod it. Or flash customROM.

Added on January 17, 2012, 1:02 amAny1 knows how to flash my SD? Too many old apps folder inside. Does deleting them equally good?
*
or flash a stock ROM image

You're lucky you're using this phone, which has this GNex toolkit for everything developed by developers from XDA, otherwise you'll have to mess with ADB and Fastboot a lot (which isn't that difficult to learn, but definitely requires more work compared to using the toolkit)

but i think still better to learn about ADB and Fastboot etc to get the concept, in case things get messed up...right?
*
yup, it would be best to learn ADB and Fastboot regardless. nod.gif

Hi guys, I have a question regarding the android keyboard. How can we jump to next line when typing as I could not find a dedicated keypad on the stock keyboard? sad.gif
*
stock SMS app can't do that, even if you install a keyboard that does that. The only way is to install a 3rd party SMS app sweat.gif

try Go SMS, Chomp SMS, or Handcent SMS?
