@Benny: Do you find your phone batt life has increased after flashing franco's? I really dont see any batt life improvement, but Colour tweak really makes a noticeable difference.
*
I never test Franco kernel. When i was on ARHD I use James Bond kernel. Whern I switch to AOKP 4.0.3 since build 13 till 15 - I use Apex V5
Excellent battery life. Example on standby with 3G always on with hourly updates on my RSS and Tweeter this is the usage over 7 hours : 3 % ie about 0.4 %/hour. It is much better than the 1-1.5 % I have when on stock rom and stock kernel

My experience with Samsung service centers ( Plaza Berjaya) has been very good. They never bother as the phone was obviously rooted and flash with cook roms and I still get free FOC warranty services. ( 5 times , twice I sent in Tab on behalf of friend ) . Even one phone bootup with yellow triangle
My best experience was sending in to Spore Plaza Singapura my ex SGS ( AP set bought in KL) - they reflash rom for me FOC as phone soft brick and cannot go to even download mode

Oh I see. Any new features added on to build 15? I haven't try. Now using stable version.

Btw, can we customized the LED color notification using default app in AOSP or we have to install third party app such as Light Flow?
*
I use LIght Flow - works very well and offers good customization. Worth the money I paid for it

BUILD 15 : Don't have any serious bugs so far

build 15 - January 9
Bug fix: Center clock should function just like the right clock now (ie be pretty when you get messages, etc)
Bug fix: gps toggle not being updated on reboot
update long-press back to kill code (no haptic feedback on the virtual button, maybe I'll add it later)
Add a custom color tint picker for your nav bar buttons
Add rotation animation delay options (how long it will take before it rotates)
Add new toggle style - Zaphod-Beeble's buttons!
---- there are no toggle images included with the ROM at the moment, so in ROM Control if you select image for the toggle style it will NOT show, you need to flash his mod for now.
new Power Saver icons in power menu, thanks to mdeejay and Virtuous
ROM Control translations for many languages (thanks to all who submitted translations!)
Added airplane mode toggle
Added tethering toggle
Added silent toggle
Added vibrate toggle

Thanks for the feedback and sharing. Will download Light Flow in a short while.

If have time, I would like to try out the build 15 as well. What it meant by added airplane mode toggle, tethering toggle, etc...I thought those toggles are already there in the power menu or I misunderstood it?  hmm.gif

Additional toggles when you press down on toggles:

Bought this lastnight and recieve notice it was mail out today. this is the most expensive backcase I have ever bought for my smartphone. Inclusive delivery it cost US $ 35. Reputed to be the slimmest backcase available - received very good reviews at XDA

im new android users .... wat is root ? and wat is flash custon rooms .. help me out =D
*
ROOT allows you to access system files. With this access you can install certain apps that need access to system files , eg Titanium Backup ( a restore-backup solution for apps n data), ADfree - eliminate those popping up ads, setcpu ( to set CPU speeds and voltage controls ), etc etc. It also will allow you to install custom roms which are generally more efficient than stock roms

You can refer to SGS II official thread post #5 where I had compile a short guide about it:

RIGHT ON ! If you are happy with the phone performance it is not really necessary
It is for those who want to squeeze more mileage out from their car ,

I applied the following mod to stock launcher : Got rid of the Google Search Bar releasing more space on homescreen . Now i can have 4X5 apps displayed. Just flash the zip file from recovery
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1385425

Replaced the search bar with the search logo at bottom which offers exactly similar function as Google search bar ( part of feature available from AOKP b15 rom )

ICS natively can support OTG but GNex stock not support. install StickMount from market.

I tested both of my MHL & OTG, working perfectly.

Thanks. Installed it - works beautifully ; could detect my USB 16GB thumb drive. It is another convenient feature

the screen is the big advantage..but the smoothness and user experience which i am concern  tongue.gif i also same case like u..when i use my older android phone, i always misclick the home and option keys, which  home is at the left while option is in the middle..  doh.gif
*
Smoothness and user experience is better than SGS II and Note. Only thing I dont like is the softer speaker tones and the position of the vol rocker

havent try the sound performance yet. but agree with the volume rocker position. GalNote's volume rocker position is also pain in arse.
*
I find GNote vol rocker position is perfect for me - right at the top ; the chance you touch on it accidentally is rare. How I wish the G Nex volume rocker is at similar position as G Note

that's right, the vol rocker is not in perfect position. softer tones issue, can try Volume+. there is free and paid version. to boost and enhance it.
*
I bought Vol + specifically for it - but only select up to +7 since warning +8 ( Be Careful...) will be possibly harmful. It offers volume increase up to level +15. Don't see much improvement though up to +7

Thanks thanks.

During that full charge can't play the phone right and it's better to off it right? And I heard that it's not good to drain until 0%, so maybe I'll charge it already when it's <20%

Anyone using Mercury case? Does it worth the RM45 for it?

Added on January 13, 2012, 11:26 am

Sync? Err.. I let it sync with my google account instead of my Mac .. ain't this post PC era? smile.gif

To transfer file, I'm using the Android Transfer:

http://www.android.com/filetransfer/
*
Another very good file transfer thro Wifi on both phone and MAC is use the app : WiFi File Explorer - no need worry about Mac cannot detect phone nor the problems associated with KIES
AirDroid is another similarly good app to transfer files thro WiFi but I find is slightly slower

hey all, just got my Galaxy Nexus yesterday from blue cube.
will my warranty be voided if i flash to yakju firmware?
*
YES warranty void. There is actually nothing special about yakju build except you will get firmware updates faster directly from Google while non-yakju build you have to wait from Samsung

How can we return back to yakjuxw status when we want to claim for warranty if we are using this method earlier?
*
No solution at the moment as no yakjuxw build available for download yet. You'd need someone to dump the rom so that you can flash it
