u got crappy weapon during 1st encounter with the boss. Onli if escape the boss room, then u got all ur class weapon.
my best attempt on the boss is half of his life, then i died u need focus around 1 hour to kill him

Dunno, I beat him in one try, got carried to the second area by a giant raven then I uninstalled the game.
The controls are just so bad I didn't feel like playing it anymore.

btw, u use keyboard n mouse?? the game need to use gamepad coz it direct ported from console, so m&k not so nice to use in this game...... n imho this game is the most accurate 3d person game control i ever played yet...

I still feel dissatisfied because I used the bomb.

For pyromancer, if i am going Katana, which stats should i focus on for damage (Dex or Str)?

put Str to 14 onli, n pump dex as mush as u like... for uchigatana u need 14dex, iaito 20dex atleast to use...

dex will make pyro/spell animation more faster, but cap at 45dex

as rule of thumb, u should pump stamina at 40 coz is ur block, dodge and atk meter.

stat priority: fill ur feveret weapon requirement > stamina 40 > hp or weapon scaling stat

too difficult... even at the 1st boss if u play so-so u'll easily die

first boss is easy(tutorial level boss roflcopter), just make sure u take black firebomb as your starting item. About 3 or 4 of that bomb is enough to take it down

2nd boss will make u cry if u think first is hard, well.. this applies to all other bosses later on.. especially giant ce.. oops, spoiler

Yes, this game is not like other arpg. When you got this game, remember to join official group the get to chatroom & ask any question,request assistance etc.

I just played this game. awesome gameplay but the controls are frustrating. I'm seriously thinking of buying a gamepad now.

is it just me or is it just easier to be summoned/summon others on PC... I played PS3 and summoning was frustrating. anyway, i got my gamepad so now the controls are bearable

Hi i'd been playing the free version of dark souls on my PC (oppss sorry) but i feel the game is so god damn amazing that i want to buy the original PC version, also partly due to i want to try its multiplayer content as well. However i just want to know are there anymore active players here for PC version? if the multiplayer is not so active anymore i might as well stick to the free version
