QUOTE(wongmunkeong @ Aug 27 2012, 02:22 PM) The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak... didn't make the time to study & analyze what to sell (PM) and buy (FSM) - had my monthly financial tracking last weekend & Raya holidays enjoying the company of my loved ones I suspect i'd need 2 solid days' focus - to reconstruct my plans (programmatic + opportunity investing for cash & EPF with overall Asset Allocation arcing controls) .. AND LOTS OF COFFEE (oo reminds me.. i'm running out of tongkat Ali coffee ) Me also. but I am not more on the analysis part. I mostly will transfer everything in little by little. Already created a beneficiary account with my parent name. Now just need to see if I go go back hometown to let my parent sign off the register form.. Added on August 27, 2012, 2:20 pmQUOTE(Pink Spider @ Aug 27 2012, 02:15 PM) Yes, KLCI is peaking, but there's always bond funds...mind u, the bond funds under my portfolio delivers IRR of 8%++ High or not, depends on the underlying stockholdings of the fund, the fund NAV price alone tells no story. Pink..my bond also at XIRR 8%++ with less than 1.5 yrs. This post has been edited by Kaka23: Aug 27 2012, 02:20 PM

My investment in this fund this year only has been slightly over half a year. Not sure if XIRR annualize my returns for me. It should I believe.

QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Aug 27 2012, 03:04 PM) Pls PM me or Wong Seafood for guidance on how to do XIRR correctly I roughly remember Master Wong say correct wor. 1/2/2012 cash inflow 1/5/2012 cash inflow . . . 27/8/2012 latest investment value I did not include any distributions like you suggested. Do you think it makes a different that my investment this year alone is less than 12 months? I maintained 2 work sheets. One is total investment, another one is investment each year (to be include into total investment the following year).

If u want to maintain record of dividends in your transactions listing, u can do it but maintain ZERO in the amounts field cos its a non-cash flow. Put a zero there and totally deleting the line makes no difference.

The other worksheet is fine. Cause it includes my past years of investment in this fund. This post has been edited by TakoC: Aug 27 2012, 03:31 PM
