yes.. u can select the location in the setting for malaysia and use ur local id. however, for the content, movies should be the same... only subscription based netflix, nba, etc. will not be available in malaysia yet. not too sure as havent got time to try...

activate home sharing. then when u play ur movies or photos, there will be a airplay logo. Click on it and choose TV.
BUt make sure ur IOS is 4.3 and above.

IOS 4.3 and above got airplay already. .no need jb at all.. its a features for atv...

no need jb also can use airplay... so far i play no lag.. no issue at all.. but most of the time, i use airplay for ppsTV to stream movies

yeah. used to use crt too. this year decided to bought a new plasma... searched a lot and finally decided on panasonic.. try going thru the home audio section and search for comparison on the tvs..

currenty to maximise the atv3 is just on netflix, movie renting, purchase and AIRPLAY... thats all.. until they have jb, u will have to stay content with the current features.. and netflix u will need to use vpn.

for jb, u will need a regular microusb... n y u wanna connect atv to macbook? airplay? if airplay u can use home sharing. then will be able to connect..

n for now, there is no jb for atv3
