You can rent/buy movies from itunes. You can stream movies from itunes from your PC too. But for many of us, we subscribe to external provider like Netflix or Hulu Plus. To be able to subscribe them, you need to subscribe to VPN too .. and set the itunes store location to US.

I'm using unblock-us, and set it as my standard DNS in the router, no problem when browsing the net and netflix seems to be okay too.

They work just fine on mine. BTW, you can buy online today with some small discount.

Anybody using StrongVPN? I just subscribed the PPTP special for USD$55 but I couldn't find any good server. Tested a few, speedtest looks good but when connected, I can barely watch youtube, forget netflix or hulu. I've unblock-us account but recently, on maxis ftth, the speed is unbareably slow. And it seems using StrongVPN doesn't help either.

I've known the answer in advance, netflix & hulu plus are not available in Malaysia, so they don't support both services .. Trust me, that is their standard answer

My maxis line is back to the speed again and my netflix most are showing superHD .. yay!

Yup, 10Mbps .. and to my eyes, they're at least HD
