Make sure you use a coupon. I got 15% discount plus about 8% Cashback. So it only cost me about RM260

i knew about this, but it's a very hit-and-miss method. Works for some, but not for all. And you need to update the file every 3 months and if apple find out, they can block the process entirely.

Hi all, saw this from LYN news thread,

"Netflix To Begin Clamping Down On VPNs
BY FARHAN · 4 HOURS AGO · 12 COMMENTS · 1.8K VIEWS
Netflix will begin clamping down on proxy servers and VPNs over the next few weeks as the company seeks to enforce licensing deals it has in various regions. The video streaming service has traditionally been rather relaxed about people using proxy servers to access its content, but this seems to have changed as it is now serving over 190 countries across the world."

Is there any problem if we are using DNS? I am using getflix, is it gonna wanna affect us.

Thanks in advance smile.gif

Yes, if they actually start enforcing it, then we're all screwed.

Din't know that. What are the main differences?

a lot of movies are not available due to censorship as well as tv shows. and US gets the releases much earlier than malaysia. i prefer to use a vpn to access the US content.

I have an Apple TV 4 but it’s quite redundant now. I actually only use it for Apple Music since I got my Sony android tv. Everything else is on android tv so if you have an android tv, there’s no reason to get Apple TV anymore. Except for Apple Music. Even airplay works with android tv.

So I just got the Apple TV 4K today and been pretty amazed by it. I'm also using a Sony Android TV, X90H to be exact.

However, sideloading non-Malaysian apps are a pain - such as HBO Max and Disney+, I can just switch to my US account to download the app officially via Apple TV and I can now use my AirPods Max for wireless listening instead only listening via my Soundbar.

Pretty nifty device, very smooth interface, quite happy with it. Will probably get the next-gen if they support Spatial Audio.

Nice. Enjoy. Mine is Apple TV HD so my android tv is a much have option for HDR and 4K content. Don’t intend to buy the 4K Apple TV as the android tv does it all beautifully anyway. And all my music is stored in my NAS anyway.
