Went see many rims.... Volk grams light 2nd hand rims around SGD950 before nego 17x7.... a few others 18"s also quite decent pricing. Main problem is they refuse to makan either our tyre or rims. Count count... being the cheapskate that I am... didnt buy.

Wonder tomorrow dat Ah Kit fella in Shah Alam got buka shop... if yes.. I probably go and grab some advanti rims.
Oh ya those who went Setapak Rim Heaven... they sell any ori Advanti rims? (I doubt there is any fake advanti rims though...)


Need some advice.
Our ori rim is 16 x 6.5 with offset +46
If we change to 17x7.5 with similar offset (+46),
means the rim will stick out slightly more right? Since offset similar but the new rim is wider (7.5 instead of 6.5), our new rim will stick out about 0.5 inch?

offset calculate from the center of the rim .. if same offset on 17.. but 1 inch wider .. logic sense it will stuck out 1/2 inch and inwards 1/2 inch..
but it should look okay as we still have some buffer on it ..

how do we identify a ori or replica rim?

btw, i'm blur.... y some ORI advanti so exp n some ORI advanti rim so cheap geh??? since both cheap, y difference so much??

Advanti rim all ori also cheap... cause its a singapore brand with factories in China, Taiwan, and Sepang.

What I feel is, if you are goign to get a taiwan replica rims from an unknown manufacturer, u might as well get one from a reputable taiwan manufacturer.

Getting Rims in Singapore is lame due to the fact that u have to smuggle your new or old rims out and resell them in malaysiua yourself. I also dropped by a friend's shop in Batu Pahat to check out some 2nd jap rims.. although "bro" price is cheap (sub 2k) the design they have is
