I think if grab rims only from AH Kit quite worth it .....but his trade-in price for our wheels have always been said to be very low....

When I asked he said RM700....some have mentioned his take price between RM500-RM800

Hmm.... but then we have to sell our rims/tyre elsewhere... and would others take it at higher price if we are not buying any tyres/rim from them?

Say... are the setapak sellers offering any Advanti rims? Jack u been there u seen any?

Havent yet... i really do not relish the idea of running around peddlign off our wheels. Best idea would be to just trade it in and 1 shot kautim.

Been hearing "High trade in, high prices for new rims" is the modus operandi of most shops..

Poadster and Potatoe going visit rim shop soon. Potatoe just finish visit few Klang rim shop today.

Well i think You are looking for ori rims, and their prices are standard if they are new...especially from YHI, ah kit sold my rims the same price as SS Pro Auto at sunway...not a single discount given on the rim...And i got mine from SS Pro Auto instead...Maybe you have better luck in getting some discount on ori rims if you hunt long enough...

Unless you are talking about replica rims that god knows comes from where, their prices are not standardized and shops can and do simply quote you a price depending on his early agreed trade in value with you..

new inspira rims and tyres should fetch easily RM1k above...never settle for less...and of course you need to know what tyres want and its retailing for beforehand and only then you know if they up the tyre price to cover the high trade in given to you..
