maybe the spark plug la bro.. dont think the timing belt.. if the timing belt putus u hve to overhaul the engine.. so be careful.

Do you all have this experience,
when driving under heavy rain, the engine become less power.
I think this problem could be because of using the non-original air filter.
So i bought an original air filter from Perodua service center and put it into my Kancil few days ago.
Now waiting for heavy rain to test my Kancil.

Recently my 1994 660 kancil has this problem in the morning.

There will be vibration coming from below like the front tires are over inflated. Check at service center both drive shaft is ok. I have also change the steering rack and calipers for both front wheels which were making squeaking sound before that. The vibration happens only in the early morning in the afternoon the vibration is not noticeable.

Any suggestion what could be the cause?

It's normal. When u have park overnight ur tire has a flat spot. When u have move the flat spot will be gone. Thats y it's normal in the afternoon. Uve change ur tyre recently?

i dont use any air filter also got this problem.. hmmm..

Send your car to workshop to check whether is it time to change your timing belt already or not.... if kaput then the cost damage will be very high

now my kancil fix already, in D gear car vibrating like no tomorrow la... is it engine mounting?

Change mounting might solve the problem.
Try change the left side one (smallest one next to the gear box).
Usually this is the one that finish very fast, and quite easy to change also, and also very cheap.
Last time i change my and it reduce the vibration problem.

The front mounting easy to change too but more expensive.
The back mounting is difficult to change, might need to pull out the engine to change it.

So try to change the left mounting 1st, if the problem solve than no need to change the front and back mounting.

Thanks to imranzero's post, I managed to meet Elton last night and decarbonized my kancil.


He advised me to change my drive shaft boot. Went to see my mech this morning and he quoted me rm100 including labor because he said its tedious to get the job done.


And I'm not sure if rm100 for all 4 boot or only 1 boot, because I specifically tunjuk at him "aaa my friend said this one need to change". Ekekek.


So he kencing me or the charge is ok/afforable?
