thats the problem. what i do last time is i only bought the engine from the halfcut and my runner (also a trader and got a shop) took all the parts and sell them himself. so i save time, he's happy... im happy.

Check engine light. could mean many things - some sensors, alternator....
Last time mine come up the alternator kong.

turbo cars many foreman recommend 10-30 as 10-40 they say say minyak too thick to go circulate through turbo.
but on the other hand i have read on the net many recommend 10-40 because it gives better protection for the engine at higher speed and temperature.

personally i have use 10-40 mineral oil so far no problem.
the engine is more smoother but can feel a bit heavy as it is a thicker oil.

agree with other forumers here to transplant engine instead of overhaul.
you will save $$ in the end.

if you worried about spare parts and maintenance get a 850cc kancil engine.
if more power and less worry get a 1000cc kelisa engine.

personally i would prefer to get l6 3 piston NA manual.
no turbo = less headache and the l6 3 piston engine is powerful ady and more fuel efficient.

actually you can get newer engine from mira avy (viva).

kalau ada org nak jual enjin viva sila lah rembat awal2 especially yang 1000cc.... laju and sgt2 jimat minyak....

1000cc can go for 160-170km/j on a stock viva.... imagine power to weight ratio if that were plonk on a kancil.... stock mira engine at least can go 150km/j top assuming u have remove the speed cut.

actually stock mira turbo (jbjl) can go 180kmh.

brapa kilo baru nak dpt 180km/j tu? rpm brapa plak? brapa lama boleh maintain 180km/j tu?

hehehe boleh jek nak dpt 200km/j pon tapi takut baru cecah 200km/j terangkat head....

jbjl standard yg aku pakai ni, 140kmh @5k rpm

0-100 kmh - less than 10seconds.

Kinda make sense LOL~ But then pick up lose to Mira Turbo...but with viva engine i think kancil will be quite powerful.
