tgk hari tu, siap pasang FIMC g endorse... lepas jek...


kalau endorse just make sure signal, lampu, horn, wiper ok... cuci le engine bay tu sebab dierorg nak check chasis

brake tu make sure mencengkam... sy kat tu jek kantoi.... and horn...

Nak pakai brake lori pon boleh asal cengkam and lepas dier syarat. Depan mesti 60% and above and blakang around 40% ke atas (roughly la sy pon lupo)
Boleh, janji ada nama penuh n no kad pengenalan. Sign tu pepandai le tenyeh.

Bawak geran kete, borang kastam and bawak resit beli enjin and cop kedai ( x sure sebab hr tu tak de bawak resit tukor enjin)

Kalau rhf 1.2 tu tahap selamat lg. ok la kot. Tapi kalau pakai td0409 ley boost 1.5 and still selamat. Tp elok le tukor injector besor n fuel pump besor untuk keselamatan. Nak selamat pakaile management. SAFC 5 butang pon ok. Ade duit pakai emanage ke neo ke.

Just bought a kancil 1996 (A) 660cc. Stock car. Recently just spent RM1K to replaced wear and tear parts.
Should need at least RM2-3K to fully restore it as good as new. Not including repaint.

Was looking for thread where all Kancil owners hang around. Would like to learn more
about this car and mods to be done to this car.

660cc. Lowest hp car I have ever driven so far. Kinda a bit not use to it and keep getting tailed by people.
A bit stress at times when someone tailing u behind just cuz they think you are driving too slow.

In fact, my car just cant go as fast as I wanted it too. Is stock 660cc. So, I don't expect it to perform like a kelisa.

Anyway, would have future planning for L2s or L5s engine transplant. After restoring it back to good condition.
Lots to learn from you guys.

my perspective... why do 2 things? if u wanna transplant an engine do it now.... not after u spend loads of money trying to fix the old engine....

660cc turbo engine now quite affordable my friend....

my take... plonk a turbo engine and be done with it....
oh and do alot of research about transplanting an engine and which kind of engine u prefer....

there are alot of forum about modifying kancil u can find and loads of them are very informative...

Thanks bro. Engine is fine. Wear and tear parts would be like the brakes, suspension and tyres. The rest so far so good. Just thinking of L5s EF-RL conversion.
Saw a few in Mudah. Some quite high price some quite okay. Is more like PnP for L5s or L series engine except L6 for kancil right?

Have to fix important wear and tear parts since is my daily car now. Later crash. Still saving up for L5s.

Engine would cost say RM3K + labour would be around RM4K, upgrade brakes and adjustables would be at least RM2K give and take.
So total I need about RM7K IINM.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Also btw, 660cc it doesnt have RPM, is it PnP if I were to replace it with 850cc meter? Thinking just buy a L5 Dashboard and repalced it totally.
Since 850cc meter cost is quite close in getting a Half Cut L5 dashboard.

i mean really u pay hella price there my friend.... engine only will cost less than 2k+ installation will be around rm600...

+- the minor stuff i would say u'll be spending less than rm4k for the transplant....
oh the rm4k+- is with L5 dashboard with meter and air cond blower....

i spent 3.9k for engine(jbjl),labor, dashboard complete with blower and meter, petrol tank and front disk brake. and added extra 500 for l2 seats and big carpet. but im pretter sure u can find cheaper, last time i search, l5 jbjl is around 2.5k + 600 labor. your choice mate!

Hi bro, thanks for the info. Is JBJL 4 cylinder engine PnP as well? I read somewhere, JBJL 4 cylinder is more comfortable and smooth while if I wanna sprint, EFRL is good enough.
Also L2s the engine gets overheat?

Some say L5 is better since is a newer engine than the L2.

Btw guys, any idea where I can find a replacement for the roof interior on the kancil? I search around an saw a few selling bumbung ombak from Mira.
Not cheap though RM200- RM250.

Stock ones seems to be common that the roof interior keep coming off.

for now the fastest engine that available for 3 piston is EFDET taken from daihatsu move.

im using JBDET from daihatsu move too... its a 4 piston and slightly newer engine than JBJL.

reliability wise, well it has ups and downs but it never failed me when i need the power to overtake or to sprint.

the fastest ive gone with this engine is 160km/j.

my JBJL has cut-off at 140kmh.

buang le cut off tu... pakai pivot halfcut sudeh...

kalau buang nanti power stereng kacau.
