naaa i live in jb.. sorry cant help u on that.. timer better buy original one.. from half cut.. cap ayam one scare to use.. some says might blown your wiring up.. original timer maybe cost around rm 80 - 200 depend on what type.. i use apexi timer from halfcut condition still cemerlang

they are good & experienced on kancil / daihatsu engines..but lot of kancil's went there..expect some long wait if ur car doing a major transplant job over there..

Oh and btw, my friend said L5 halfcuts you can get below 2k. Is that even logical in current times? Dah lah halfcutnya makin sikit. :/

i bought complete CKD halfcut L512=rm4500

install from halfcut usually takes 3-5 days...but it depends on the workload they have..sometime it'll drag to 2-4 weeks..sometimes more..huhu.. (kena selalu datang halo halo lah)

l5 halfcut usually cost 2200 - 2800..depends...below 2k impossible loh..unless got super discount from kedai potong...but if L9 (JBDET) yes u can get RM 1600 - RM 1900

but transplanting L900 into kancil u can only use back the engine / gearbox / wiring..other than that cannot use coz it comes from kenari chasis..

Dt tuner quoted me rm2.7k for halfcut, 1200for installastion and another 450 for endorsement..

kena custom bahagian exhaust manifold or buang internal wastegate.. n lubang tu redirect utk jadi port external wastegate.

does anyone have 660 kancil manual carburetor diagram/service manual pages? need to know what are all the screws/dials for to adjust afr/idles etc

Ya. Thats why I didnt believe when they said l5 costs less than 2k. Mengarut betui. The other day found L502 NA pun dah 2200. Hahah.

Err not really interested in L9 engines. One, tak berapa tau sangat enjin ni, and two, ive been researching about l5 for so long so if suddenly change to L9 takut rasa kecewa nanti.

Tadi dah pegi. Dia quote RM4k for halfcut + installation. Didnt ask about endorsement sebab rasa nak buat sendiri je. Not enough money for runner dah kekeke.

BTW ive decided to get l5 halfcut from next jdm autoshop in section 7. Total dalam 39++. Boleh lah kot tu. Tadi pun dah tengok condition engine. The engine seemed okay. Hopefully will stay okay sampai bila bila hahah.
