QUOTE(soitsuagain @ Sep 3 2012, 10:39 AM) Anyone thinking of getting the TX once it is out? I think the TX is really nice with the screen extending to the very edge. Especially so with the on-screen button disappearing when viewing movies and pictures. Plus it can switch location depending on how we hold the phone. the problem wit TX is that it is a downgrade version of T, n that really turns me done.. not sure whether it is true or not. but the phone itself is very beautiful.. |

QUOTE(shahrul_sama @ Sep 3 2012, 03:39 PM) what is the price?, hope not at same level with the quad core phones.. Acro s is selling at 1699, i assumed this phone TX likely bout 1899-2k myb.. gues i pass tis one, i'll wait another year til sony release quad phone n jellybean ready. I believe my arc stil reliable til that time.but the camera look promising , is it able to match sgs 3 camera and screen quality? QUOTE(shahrul_sama @ Sep 5 2012, 11:54 AM) 587 is the latest official ics update from sony/google.. got minor problem fix and baseband update also.. So do i ned to update the 587 update first only then can flash the new rom or can just proceed to install? Btw i always wondering how to use nandroid backup, wat s it actually?you can check at setting/about phone/build number... looks like two different set of rom but from same dev..recommend to do full wipe...but you can try do dalvic wipe only and see ...do nandroid back up first before proceed.. |

QUOTE(shahrul_sama @ Sep 5 2012, 12:09 PM) nandroid backup is fully backup your system and files..it will your life saver if your phone got bootloop after flashing new rom or mods....at cwm you should find back up and restore under advance menu.. so the process shud be nandroid backup->factoryreset/wipe->dalvic cache->install rom ? right?you can straight flash the rom... Added on September 5, 2012, 12:46 pmow btw 1 more thing bro, ever since my first flashin rom, my phone model no become LT18i, iinm my original arc is LT15a.. my question, the developer recommend a different kernel, in which if i wana change it i have to also flash it's wifi module.. the problem is it got to module, for arc s and for arc.. so which 1 shud i choose? QUOTE(Gurvin Abruzzi @ Sep 10 2012, 04:57 PM) hurm bout quality build i kinda agree with u but do also aware that even samsung s3 build quality is kinda suck, it also has that mysterious body crack issue. even my cousin's s3 also hav that issue, just a couple months old, no drop but that crack appeared out of nowhere.refer here for the crack issues of S3. http://www.androidauthority.com/galaxy-s3-...d-units-101957/ |
