QUOTE(dvinez @ Feb 16 2012, 09:26 AM) ya its a miracle lol for a 2.0 c segment. the 1.6, are said to be 65k but of course others complain so no way to get that. What so miracle with it? Biasa je tu. Last generation Elantra HD also price below 100K. The Forte shares the same platform as the Hyundai Elantra (HD). So Forte follow Elantra price. Elantra MD is a new car & said to share same platform wt Forte 2013.

QUOTE(cybermaster98 @ Feb 21 2012, 09:16 AM) New Civic is crap. Thats why they already planning a facelift for the new Civic this year. As i mentioned on the Civic forum, hopefully Malaysians wont be stupid to buy the 2012 Civic (pre-facelift). The drop in resale value for this model will be more once the facelift is launched. The 2012 Civic has obtained very poor reviews worldwide due to the poor design and drop in quality and handling. There is no wrong buying a civic. It still market leader for C-segment car globally. In USA, Jan 2012 statistic show Honda sell 21,883 units civic compare 10,900 units of Elantra for the same month although Elantra win North America COTY award. Like it or not, some poor review just minority but majority buyers can accept civic as a good product. Maybe Civic not the leader in term of spec but it still competitive & well accepted. QUOTE(FluidicSculpture @ Feb 24 2012, 04:54 PM) Got internal memo mentioning about a delay, citing official reason that they're building up more stock to meet the estimated increase in demand for Elantra. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Don't think it's a good idea to say the real reason, Sime Darby is snared by croniesNAP bear trap after all. They also mention about the unit being displayed at Mid Valley. Something caught my attention is that the memo mentioned the Elantra is assembled in a modernised Inokom plant that also guess what? Assembles Japanese car. I don't know which model, but a lot of long time eternal Inokom hater probably shot themselves in the foot driving in an Inokom assembled Japanese car. Inokom also assemble BMW 5 and 3 series...
