Got internal memo mentioning about a delay, citing official reason that they're building up more stock to meet the estimated increase in demand for Elantra.


They also mention about the unit being displayed at Mid Valley. Something caught my attention is that the memo mentioned the Elantra is assembled in a modernised Inokom plant that also guess what? Assembles Japanese car.

I don't know which model, but a lot of long time eternal Inokom hater probably shot themselves in the foot driving in an Inokom assembled Japanese car.

I beg to differ on the selling poorly part, I've been seeing sharp increase in Mazda 3 on the road recently that any other cars, I actually see more of the latest Mazda 3 than the Altis on the road.
The Elantras are hiding behind the private stockyard blocked by other cars and not accessible by the public.

again.. that HU from mainland..  have relative working for the local HU company.. which bring BerMaz ppl to China factory visit....

Toyota are trying to standardize the HU design for all their vehicle..  and u can customize what HU u want when u buy a car in some country like Japan...
but the design already probably more than 10 years..  it seriously need a rework...

btwn..  VW HU in Malaysia is a real blood($) sucking accessories.. 

i reckon but perhaps personal taste. as boring as they are, they remain their standard and classy look in most of their cars except polo maybe. can most of the carmakers do that? even sonata's interior is ugly (personal opinion) and feels cheap.
