Really confuse with the bank negara policy. I applied loan for inspira 2.0 and also vw golf gti. Bank offered me 3.5% interest for proton while 1.8% for vw for the same amount that i borrow and also paying term. Bank Negara support ppl buy continental car?

i can't seem to get more than 360km - 370km for a full tank of about 35L. how on earth do i need to drive to get better mileage? even before i mod the engine, best i got was about 380km i have tried pumping up the tyres, driving like a snail on the highway (90kph ~ 110kph) till even kancils and trucks overtake me and i still can't do better. funny thing is, the engine obd says i'm doing about 7.3L/100km. seems pretty far off from what i'm really getting. i've even tried changing gears below 4,000rpm.

any advice is most appreciated.

Proton = poor people = high risk = higher interest
VW = rich people = low risk = low interest




Changing gear early and driving slow doesn't always give you good fc. Eg changing gear before the max torque will drop the rpm outside the powerband, hence power loss.
