huskies need a lot of space and exercise! an apartment is definitely not enough space for a husky, not just because they love to run around, but also because they are quite big! also, huskies don't do well on their own - they prefer living in a pack, so it's better to have at least two dogs. there are miniature huskies in the US, but I've never heard of them here before... I prefer a full-sized husky to keep me company anytime! |

u gotta be close to ur husky if you want to keep one..always take them out they need to move quite alot..and discipline them properly...they can be quite disobedient at times..
weather wise, it's fine as long as you don't leave them directly in the sun whole day..i think a person would get dehydrated as well.. pros: they're relatively clean..don't stink cons: shed alot sometimes..really alot |

QUOTE(IMAX @ Dec 22 2006, 07:02 PM) yeah they have wolf traits as they're hybrid of dog and wolf, they are tough, strong but not fierce, most of the times they're nice but i wonder if they're life is threatened then maybe will become fierce, they also will howl like wolvesQUOTE(zachtan @ Jan 7 2007, 01:03 PM) i thought i answer you already?? yeah u can have if your management allows them, i have a fren who rares husky in her condo in cheras, its not a very very big place, but u gotta let them exercise, and the more the betterQUOTE(zenix @ Jan 9 2007, 02:50 AM) from what i know the Husky's being sold here have already been climatized. ermmm even if its not climatized is still okay, they get used to the weather here quite fast, but yes most of the pups sold is already used to malaysian weather....perhaps 4th or 5th generation from australia. my fren imported a US champion husky from US, when he arrive here, he totally lost appetite and not so active, but roughly bout 1 - 2months, he's all okay now, IN SHORT YES HUSKIES CAN LIVE IN MALAYSIA CAUSE I HAVE 1 TOO last request, mods can you please combine this with the current husky thread? http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...0entry9039310 |

I think this thread should be closed instead. Thread posted asking a specific question and I think it has been answered by people that actually do have huskies in Malaysia.

dogs have pack mentality.
so if there is only one, they treat the master as the alpha male and the rest as the pack members. if got two then they become like couple. different oredi. if got 3 then its a pack pet shop ppl say |
