Completing Heroes Season 1 to 3 and then......... holycrap!!! My Samsung BD-C5500 (already updates to latest firmware date 17/Jan/2012 & my BDLive is in prohibited setting) cannot playback any of the disc in Season 4! It just keep showing cannot read disc, after few attempt trying, it may lead you to main menu but it still can't playback the movie, it may success to play maybe few scenes, then dead!

All Season 4 BDs is unplayable! I hate Samsung player now! Gonna try grab another (maybe Sony) player. Crap!

Before that, I already got some issue on playback few episode in Season 3, then I updates the firmware, one of the total unplayable episode is playable back........... but .......... my whole season 4 is not playable, and I don't have any new firmware to updates now.

I found out this Samsung player is more and more lead to playback issue when you own more BDs. When I bring all those can't play BDs to home using Sony and all of them is playable. I no longer ever grab any Samsung player in future!

No solution found, I give up on that player already, and I won't buy any Samsung BD player in future anymore.

History on unplayable/or problematic I face:
  • Spartacus: Blood and Sands, disc 2 cannot load. (US Edition) [No issue on my home Sony S370 player.]
  • Ghost in the Shell - origin version cannot play after load the advertisement (Japan Edition) [No issue on my home Sony S370 player.]
  • Firefly one of the disc also having difficulty on playback (UK Edition) [No issue on my home Sony S370 player.]
  • Green Lantern - keep out of Audio sync in the middle [No issue on my home Sony S370 player.]
  • Heroes Season 3 Disc 2 some episode got difficulties on playback (after latest firmware, it do solved one of the total unplayable episode in previous firmware), whole Season 4 is not playable. (UK Edition) [This one I not test at Sony player yet as I haven't bring back to hometown yet.]

Ya, I know that but I still want to watch it. Actually heroes already can end at volume 3 (season 3 part 1). Volume 4 (season 3 part 2) is not that nice story already.

umm, just wanna ask... does the expanded director's cut of The Expendables has all the special features brought over from the theatrical version release? hmm.gif i read somewhere that the commentary by Sly was excluded! doh.gif i'm thinking of ordering the DC (always a preferred choice!) but would love if it is complete with all the features from the norm version.. btw, i'm referring to the US release

Director's Cut

*Introduction by Sylvester Stallone (HD; 2:32). Sly talks about second- and even third-guessing his instincts during the original editing process and how proud he is of this new, supposedly improved, version.
*Action: The Expendables (1080i; 20:33) is a Spike TV special on the film.
*Sinner's Prayer Music Video by Sully Erna (HD; 3:47)
*Sylvester Stallone: A Director in Action (HD: 20:21) includes interviews with Stallone as well as on set action.
*Inferno: The Making of The Expendables (HD; 1:31:42) is the same in-depth featurette on the film which was included on the theatrical cut Blu-ray release.

original theatrical cut

*A surprisingly funny and informative Commentary from Stallone.
*Ultimate Recon Mode, a PIP feature that includes large swaths of Stallone's commentary with a wealth of picture in picture background material.
*Comic Con 2010 Panel (1080i; 45:29) a fun interview segment with the principal stars.
*Inferno: The Making of 'The Expendables' (HD; 1:31:42) a nicely in-depth look at the history of this project, including Stallone's own admission that he's past the days of carrying an action film by himself.
*From the Ashes: Post Production (HD; 26:36), a shorter but equally interesting look at editing and the like.
*Gag Reel (SD; 5:03).
*Deleted Scene (SD; 00:45), a brief snippet of Lundgren chewing the scenery from the opening Somali segment. Sorry, Dolph, no Oscar this time.
*Marketing Archive, which contains the Trailer, TV Spots, and PR Posters.

Ceduk from blu-ray.com...hope this helps
