Not sure if this was posted or mentioned before, i found a site that reveals "easter eggs" in most Blu-ray movies.

Happy Early Easter Day!

The sales already start few days ago.  If you always trace Amazon price at www.blu-ray.com or other similar site, you should notice that.

Sorry if im not understanding your post, but what has easter sale have to do with "easter eggs" in movies? hmm.gif

reason i bought the old release cause i like the box (slimmer)

btw saw your POTC title World End is region B, bro you hv region free player?

Hope so too.

POTC didnt label the Regions properly. On the Sleeve it says A/B, on the Disc is says B. But it all disc plays on A. I tested them.

just got this 5 mins ago. Hope all the disc + digital copies work well. On Amazon.co.uk is says that this set is Region B, but on blu-ray.com it is reported that it's Region Free.

Really strange that they rated "Tokyo Drift", "Fast and Furious 4, and "Fast Five" for "12" years and above and the rest are "15" and above. Seems to be that the last few movies has more violence/sexual innuendos than the rest.

Universal Studio should be Region Free..

Yea.. i read that as well.. but cant help feel that its risky to buy it even if its region free, cos if it really doesnt work, amazon will not refund me.

Lucky thing also that they provided digital copies on DVDs, so i guess it doesnt have an expiry date.

ummm… am I the only one in the dark about digital copies? all these while i thought they're all came with expiry dates… or maybe from uk it's different because i hardly owned any blu-ray from uk so i don't know.  hmm.gif

one more thing, that'll be real bad for you when you paid a premium quality in hi-definition blu-ray and you ended up satisfied with just low-def digital copies quality when region playability issue is the case.  shakehead.gif  unless of course you opt for a region-free blu-ray player  nod.gif

This is what i read today on the FAQ on iTunes regarding digital copies.
1. There are 2 kinds
a. Physical DVD copies containing the movie + Download code
b. Download link + Download code

Apparently most Digital Copies in DVD will not expire, and you can download it to your computer as many times as you wish, PROVIDED you login with the same iTunes ID.

Download links will expire as i believe the distribution of the links and download codes is easier to pirate.

Here is more info regarding this
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1539

Yup.. i am taking the risk on "Believing" that the blu-ray i buy are Region A. I of course do my research by cross referencing with a few sites to confirm that it is Region Free or A before i make my purchase. But i will not stop feeling uneasy until i play personally test the discs.

oh ok... that's a good one on digital copies as I never knew there are 2 different types, thanks bro!  thumbup.gif btw, for me i never really care much with digital copies except the ones i've already transferred into my iphone years ago... most of my later blu-ray with digital copies had expired & I lost count how many...  tongue.gif i'd prefer the dvd copy they included as a blu-ray combo although i find it redundant  smile.gif

No worries bro. We sama sama learn new stuff smile.gif
I dont really care about digital copies as well, as they appear rather SD to me.

I guess the DVD is good if you have another TV in the house for someone else to watch or if your car comes with a player smile.gif

I just read the fine print on my F&F Set. Each coupon that contains the code for Digital Copy actually has an expiry date (14/4/12) So ok la.. then i tried downloading it via iTunes.. and got an error message - "This download is only valid in UK and Ireland"

Sigh... at least all 5 BD works fine. All Digital copy discs can use as frisbee now.
