True... and other factors too like multiple audio language/subtitle tracks or special features do make a difference... if not much  nod.gif  The other was the printing quality or packaging...  tongue.gif

how much for one ori Blu-Ray disk? and where to buy? only online got eh?

Try amazon.com smile.gif Cheaper than Speedy Video. Buy original. Worth the money. Pirated stuff dont always work on bluray players. I used to buy last time, but i end up going back to the shop so often just to change it. Fed-up. Went to buy original and i never had any issues yet. Plus packaging is always awesome!

I notices that buyin from amazon UK can be much cheaper than US and the delivery times are 1 to 2 weeks as compared to US store which estimates 1 month. Is this true?

Ive placed my office address as the point of delivery. I ordered only 2 boxsets which might not fit into the letterbox. If this is the case, if the parcel comes on a Saturday, will they come back on Monday to deliver it or will they 'dont care' and just check it at the door?

Anyone have this experience before?

this is one reason why i dont put my off address for delivery... unless u work saturdays or absolutely sure there'll be someone receiving 'em. anyway from what happened to me with my home address, they will send parcel back to nearest poslaju branch (in my case: brickfields) but this is with std shipping. of coz they'll leave a love note stating where to collect your undelivered parcel. i dont know about others... (pls share experience with idesmond)

well i dont think that they'll just left it at the door lah... hopefully your boxsets will arrive to u safe n sound! nod.gif

Thanks for the feedback. Problem is no one no one is at home most of the time. No choice but to use office address.

I've never had issue using office cause my previous employee does not bother all this things as long as we do our work in fine form. Same goes to my new employer. No issue using office address to receive items.

By the way, how accurate is the delivery timing from Amazon UK?
My parcel left on the 13th of March, and it says estimate arrival is today.
Is it accurate? Or most of the time, it takes longer than the estimated time?

Sorry.. Amazon noob here

Give it a day or two interval upon your estimated arrival date.
Usually Amazon UK lot quicker than Amazon US (based on my experience)

Ok thanks.. then i guess it may not arrive today.. which then i hope it wont come tomorrow either and just drop a note for me to collect it at the post office..

Amazon Uk seldom arrived later than the estimated time..
usually earlier than the estimated..
my records from buying from Amazon UK are 99% arrive in 7-10days...
as i remember, only complain once or twice for arrive late
*
Then I guess in my case If it doesn't arrive today then it's late already. I will wait for the post man to come this afternoon.

OMG.. out of curiosity i went downstairs to the mailroom for the first time just to check if there is anything inside the mailbox.. and it seems that the mailbox to my company isnt locked! Therefore, IF someone decides to hijack my package also i wont know.. WTF. Now im getting worried.

Added on March 23, 2012, 12:39 pmLooks like I jumped the gun. My package arrived 10 mins after my last post. Phew! Managed to intercept it before anyone else could possibly steal it. Lol! Phew!

so the delivery within amazon estimate date?

Office in damansara heights. Yes.. the Amazon estimate came precisely on the date it stated, which is today. From the date stamps, it actually arrived to Malaysia yesterday.

Hats off to Amazon UK for excellent delivery system!

Added on March 23, 2012, 3:26 pm On another note, i tried ordering a bluray from Amazon Japan, but the estimated time of delivery is 60 weeks! Pwuaaahhh!! I straight away cancelled.

Received these late BDs this morning:

2. Battle Royale: The Complete Collection [Blu-ray]

Luckily I pre-ordered this edition very early and managed to enjoy the lowest price at $19.99.  Amazon cut this edition price to $19.99 during middle of January and only for very short period of time and return to $31++ until now.  thumbup.gif
Very nice packaging. I remember owning the DVD of this, and worst thing is that they didn't have subtitles. So have to go through the show trying to figure things out.
