The minimal of samsung which can enjoy most of the android function is galaxy W
for nokia lumia 710 , HTC one V . However , many of the people here asking Rm 400-600+ range ,
and they wan 8mp cam / no lag / large screen
Only SE 2011 series fullfill those thing .

Those who wan HTC but with hundred budget is not realistic as the cheapest HTC on V is near to 1k .
Don ask for HTC if you don have alot budget because its a expensive brand . And they wont product any budget phone in the future.

Android - Can customize a lot, got many apps, not so smooth.

WP7 - Smooth, unique UI, not many apps, no bluetooth file transfer, no mass storage.

iOS - Smooth, even more apps than Android, basic, no mass storage.

1st, choose what OS you gonna to use

iphone - user friendly, ton of apps, but screen so small
s2 - has lesser apps than iOS, but also a lot, and bigger screen, good camera, disadvantage is last time product
lumia 800 - good camera, user friendly, very smooth, but less app

I vote for sensation xe

User interface - Motoblur not so nice looking but smoother than HTC sense.

Custom ROM availability - XE wins.

Camera - Both also bad.

Build quality - Both also good.

Hello there guys, this is my 1st time posting here, sorry to just barge in like this, but as for now, I would be very glad if anyone here can give tips and what to look for if I were to find a new handphone. My LG Shine is old and battered already :/

1. Brand.
Anything will do, but if possible not Samsung (just a preference)

2. Budget.
< MYR 1,500

3. Specs.
Customizable (in terms of interface and yadda yadda yadda)
Nice camera
Free GPS
Awesome WiFi connection
No lagging
etc

4. Type/Size. (Candybar, Clamshell etc...)
Smaller would be better, and if possible I am also going for looks. I always prefer an angular looks rather than a circular ones. Much edgy IMO

Nokia N8 - RM 1200 ORI , but it is old phone already [2010]... , it is customizable, and yes.. it is the 2nd best camera phone in the world , have option to use GPS for free , has awesome WiFi connection and no lagging with new Nokia Belle..
