better go for Lumia 800 rather than Nokia Lumia 710


if Blackberry important for you , then you can go for blackberry , people choose blackberry because of they need BIS/BES and BBM .. if you dont need that.., it is really wasteful for owning a Blackberry

it is hard to met your criteria...

especially with your budget and criteria no. 2

or
Nokia Asha 300 - RM 350 ORI

I would recommend Samsung Galaxy S2 ,

but if you can wait for Xperia S , better go for that

when you ask why , you need to know what you really need in a smartphone ,

Samsung Galaxy S2 , is better phone than Arc and Arc S , of course..

Arc S is better than Arc , So , now it is between Arc S and SG S2 ,

Samsung Galaxy S2 has ->

1. nice screen , Super AMOLED , I saw it with my eyes , and compare both phone , and SG S2 is nicer..

2. bigger internal memory [although it is customizable with external memory] ,

3. bigger RAM [1GB VS 512 MB]

4. if Arc S still didn't get the 1080p video recording update , the SG S2 still the best in term of FULL HD video recording , for the still camera , both are par , but seems that my friends Arc S can shoot nicer pictures

5. got secondary camera[front] , 2MP , great for webcam/video call purpose

6. better GPU[graphic] and better processor , SG S2 using dual core

7. better battery life , Xperia Arc S may need bigger capacity battery


and why Xperia S ?

1. better GPU , better processor , and nicer camera

2. it is recommended if you like Xperia phones

2. why mp[megapixel] is so important for you??

3. there are many ways to transfer file from iPhone to any PC , practical or not , it is depend on you..


if you more towards Samsung , most of new phones comes with Android , and based on your criteria , it is hard to recommend Android phones especially in term of resale values and good camera[best camera , definitely not in iOS or in Android ]

well, you may go for Samsung Galaxy S2 , or maybe Samsung Galaxy Nexus if you more towards Samsung devices..

although S3 is a rumour , it is still Samsung ,

Smartphone is errr... smartphone , which is not ordinary/normal phone , phone that may do some of works that computer can do , and of course , multitasking...

well , the processor of Nokia N9 is only 1GHz and it only have 1GB RAM , is that much matter..? it can handles /multitask more than 20 apps at the same time without lags...well Nokia N9 use Meego ,

for Nokia Belle, it maybe not as advanced as Meego .. but it is still okay for me ,
I'm using Nokia Belle in my Nokia N8 , so far.. I'm happy with it ..
yet , my Nokia N8 just have 680MHz , and only 256 MB RAM and can take pictures[12MP size] quickly and fast ... and I never experienced lag/hang ...in my Nokia Belle ..

well , u may look others OS , if they can handle this same thing by using only 680MHz processor and 256MB RAM ...

the Nokia 808 using 1.3MHz and only 512MB RAM .. well it maybe not as good as Nokia N9 in term of multitasking.. but still it is much powerful ,

oh yeah , Nokia/Symbian is never disappoint me in term of battery , because I always satisfied with its battery performance..[the OS doesn't consume much battery and also the phone itself too]

well.. 1400mAh in Nokia 808 maybe a bit low for you , but for me as Nokia N8 user with only 1200mAh battery , i managed to use my phone around 2 days [normal usage] which is okay for me..

doesn't matter whether you subscribe the Daily or Monthly package , you can access those things ,

of course, if the things require additional charges you need to pay... but that doesn't mean , you can't access those things , you still can access those things when you have sufficient balance [ for example foursquare, whatsapp , streaming youtube/radio/tv..etc.. , ] , because some of the packages doesn't include those things , but yet.. you still can access those things

Not all apps can be accessed by using wifi when there are no BIS connection, since you only activate the BIS base on daily basis, means that.. the BIS only can be used on that day , once you stop the subscription, the BIS will be not connected, and you can't accessed some of the apps [prolly most of the apps]

*actually can be accessed[open] but cannot be connected even though with wifi [for some apps]


if you subscribe the BIS Unlimited Monthly , the BIS can be used for a month , although you off the mobile network , you still can get BIS connection through wifi [in that month]

you might gonna try Nokia E6 , so far I've tested my friends phone for 3 days..
well, I'm not always connected , but it[the battery] able to last more than 2 days[with my normal usage]

what do you mean by overall specs..?

well both is nice , and the overall specs are comparable although , Xperia Pro may have better processor and higher RAM and better GPU


you can't compare both of them in terms of processor, and RAM , and say that Nokia N8 is slower[Nokia N8 has lower RAM , and lower clock speed of processor] because both of them got different OS ,

Nokia OS [Nokia Belle] , doesn't required much power to handle things in the phone..

well , I'm okay with my Nokia N8 , no noticeable lag at all [with Nokia Belle] , it runs smooth ...

for Android , we know that they need higher RAM and better processor to run it...

for this things you need to choose OS , Android has large market Apps, Nokia/Symbian said to be dying and no much apps ,

BUT for me , as long as they[Symbian] got apps that I want.. no problems...

gaming --> good for me.. , can handle HD games smoothly and fine [Nokia N8]
