Sorry Bro, its 5"

QUOTE(ikiey @ Jan 17 2012, 04:04 PM)
Worth every penny Bro.. Its the best compromise between comfort n handling... Handling becomes sharper, n faster to change direction.. But yeah, cant rival changing direction speed of those 40-45 series profile tyres, but also alot less vibration n bumpy compare with those lower profile tires...
*
Thanks for the info. Seems 195/55/R15 is the best setup for extra grip..

Stock Swift = 185/60/R15?

For xtra grip, for sure its the larger the contact point, the higher grip there will be... But, then, too much grip also for sure will sap alot more power from the engine.. If too large contact point, then maybe the engine cant overcome the drag caused by the friction between tires n road surface, eventually ur car will only top at 130-140kmh instead of potentially 165-175kmh top speed with skinny tires Bro...

Type of tires material composition and tyre rating also affects all this Bro

p/s; if too wide of a tyre also, will increases the chances of aquaplaning in our lighweight cars...
*
Agreed. IMHO, since LPLB is often compared to a Swift in terms of power spec, maybe we can increase a bit the tire size and width. If it's me, I won't even try to reach those 160km/h++ speed, on whatever tire size it is. Unless I'm on track. tongue.gif

Disappointed that P2 don't provide R15 rims as stocks for LPLB range.. sad.gif

Haihz... You know why all LB/LPLB doesn't carry DVVT badge on bottom left corner of the rear windscreen?

Because 'Papa' said not to confuse people with Dual VVT-i. Furthermore, it's cost cutting measure, 1 sticker = RM10 cost reduction per car dy.

I dunno whether "bigger is better" in this case. Honestly, I just want moderate change as not to compromise the ride comfort. Maybe I'll live with the stock form a little longer and see whether I can decide better. laugh.gif

Your recommendation? Yours is 1.5 SE right?

I think you better head to the Perodua official website and browse the spec there. They even have comparison table.
