QUOTE(Aeon_Clock @ Feb 20 2012, 11:51 AM) saw lower arm bar for MyVi at Brothers yesterday for RM9.90 only...Apexi brand dunno can trust or not QUOTE(Aeon_Clock @ Feb 20 2012, 12:00 PM) haha, its actually quite strong. And there is an Apexi man there selling other Apexi stuffs (which seemed was going at normal price and long warranty). What's the price of lower arm bar now? I got for my old car long time ago at 38 bucks. Lower arm bar...?? Bro, lower arm bar is quite expensive stuff... It wont be less than 500.. Its the component which hold the entire brake assembly and wheel assembly..![]() This post has been edited by ikiey: Feb 20 2012, 12:10 PM |

QUOTE(Aeon_Clock @ Feb 20 2012, 12:29 PM) mine was Zenden long time ago. Now Zenden like disappeared into space ady...never heard from again 2 point bar is the front strut bar rite...?? The one holding both front suspension struts...??And I'm talking about 2 point bar...not the 4 point one. 4 point bar sure la more expensive. I'll probably just get 2 point UTR front and rear/ARB enough. |

If ur car is not lowered, u can also try the front lower bar, that bar really significant diffrent to ur car's chassis... I would say the most significant contribution is the rear ARB, followed by the fender bar n then the lower front bar... My member's car put on one whole set Ultra Racing bar for his myvi, 1 by 1... So can feel the improvement made by each bar..

QUOTE(Aeon_Clock @ Feb 20 2012, 12:33 PM) yes, front bar got 3 types actually. For strut bar, myvi only have 2 point bar... Go for 18mm rear ARB, n then front strut bar... Fender bar only if u are willing to take out the fender n pasang balik... But, best to weld it onto the chassis, n then can forget its there, no need to check the screws anymore... My friend at first only uses screws, but later the screws went missing alot, n then finally weded it onto the chassis.. Settled and alot more rigid feeling compared to using nuts and bolts.. But make sure u spray anti rust and do all the necessary precautions to avoid rust problem...2 point, 3 point and 4 point. Not sure if available for MyVi but some cars have all range. Anyone with good recommendations to fit the MyVi? Since the Lagi Best sways a lot (I've seen some), Anti-Roll Bar/Sway bar seems like the better choice than Lower Arm Bar (although LAB should be cheaper) |

QUOTE(superdeemon @ Feb 20 2012, 04:38 PM) ...4th days into owning my awesome yellow 1.5 (m), to & fro jb today with constantly hitting 130km smoothly. Everything working fine except the new manual gear box feeling stiff & rigid. Is that the way Myvi new manual gear box reacted, anyone? Yes Bro, it will be like that, but later becomes more rubbery feel... I prefer proton's gen2, waja positive feel manual gear change evrytime.. |
