just been out in it, can't wait to be able to push it a bit!  feels nice and smooth, though the gear change is like stirring porridge  although I am used to a very solid and 'positive' gearchange in the VW Golf I had back in the UK can't afford one here 

anyway, it's a cool looking car and it feels as though it's going to be fun and quite quick once I've done enough miles to give it a bit of stick 

For strut front bars we attach it and lock it down with the existing screw holes, done without any drilling and modification to the chassis. But what about rear ARBs? Is it required that any drilling has to be performed to attach the anti roll bar to the car?

ye la....just drive slow slow....110KM/h and its a 90% hway ....and 10% normal town....

if my calculation is accurate ...MYVI 1.5 SE highway ....average speed 90-100KMH ...still can do 480-500+-KM ...until blink blink.....haha...town driving ...380-420KM only.....

and doesn't like the feeling first bar ( when you fill full tank ) really really quick to hilang.....

basically ....1 bar = 45-50KM for daily town driving ...and can easily goes up to 60-70KM per bar ...if long distance......

But this is really hard to get, 85% highway, 15% B-road(simpang ampat toll to tampin n then into genting plantation's area) with twisties, so that one i cannot tahan, i also becomes hooligan abit play2 with this one Saga FL... Hehehe3, it was fun though n the Saga driver was a very sporting guy, he didnt block when i about to passed him, n hes also very skillful, cuz he manage to go in n out of this 1 tight bend while skidding all the way... Damn good car control on the limit... But, back to the question on how i can manage this FC... never did i once go past 100kmh(during highway that is, but during the B-road with Saga, cannot tahan but still never pass 120kmh cuz there jalan so narrow n no long straight) n very gentle to the throtle pedal... I on purpose drive slowly at highway because wan to make 1 whole day trip, otherwise need to go back office

Is there different measurement can be fit-able for MyVi or there's only one measurement?

Any specific different with 18mm over 16mm?

In addition, does the Meter Combi shows the indicator where the front fog lights being turned on? I saw the Meter Combi in the Owner's Manual has the fog lights indicator on both tachometer and temperature gauge, but it doesn't light out when I switched it on. Not to mention the Owner's Manual doesn't mention about that part too.

yeap.. i went thru a few pages of it and came across mention of strut bar and therefore am asking bout it again...cos cant go thru all 50++ pages of it. hope u forgive my slowpokeness.

am actually looking for on the safety side..like making the car more balance during cornering or braking..but braking system stuff quite pricey eh?

Hi guys im a new user of MYVI so need some advises and experiences from the experts over this forum..

Mine is Myvi 1.5 Extreme (1 week old)...

First day itself i fixed alarm sensor, since by default no beeping sound when press the alarm. Accessories shop guy installed additional item where he claimed does not need to cut wyres, just add socket so can slot in...

Then he suggested to switch the cable of DVD, where i can watch DVD while driving. By default must pull handbrake to watch.. So i agreed.

Seems all ok, then i noticed my radio reception was not so good for certain channels. i went back to that shop in worries maybe what he did could brought that problem.. So he replied alarm and radio got nothing to do and my issue could be because radio signals weak, depends on the areas..
The problem is I never figure out how was the radio reception before the touch up...So im clueless whether by default already have signal weak or after the touchup.. now and need to check with service centre..
How about you guys MYVI 1.5, by default the radio signals is it ok ?

Lets come to alarm part, today is 5th day of having my car.
My central locking not working now. I press the alarm just beeps and lights flashing but car not unlocking or locking. I have to use key manually unlock and lock. When i press brake just sounds coming out like central locking but its not locking at all..
So i suspect the additional sensor that guy installed could causing the problem now.
Really frustrated, does not know wiring issue or what the f*** is that..
Now need to bring to him again, and screw him to take it out from my car...

Simple....ask d sticker shop to stick yr emblem with red n green sticker......also you can ask to make it reflective....using reflective stickers.......

To all owner who already change to aftemarket suspension or coil spring......care to share what brand and price........

Oh so SC can install that beeping sound is it... so now my car not locking or unlocking by pressing alarms, is it because wiring issue ? can i bring to SC to check on that.. Do they entertain me even after i installed the buzzer by my own. I just worry SC may refuse to check on this, or give excuses of warranty gone...
I did called and ask that shopguy whether its really plug n slot, or he did some wyre cutting, but he said he never cut any wyres..
