well, i prefer the manga as it;s more detailed. don't really like the anime tho cuz it changes some stuffs here and there.
wad sort of coments are u looking for? storyline wise it's very funny, hilarious to certain extend. and i love the way hiruma uses tactics, it's soooo damn strategicly planned... overall, it;s a pretty nice anime.. owh.. i'm downloading ep31 thru clubbox now.. heheh |

This is an anime I thot I will not watch at first, after my friend showed me the first ep... I got hooked. It's currently my favourite anime to watch because not only I love anime, I also have a keen interest on learning about American Football.
 The story is very unique tho, especially the characters. The main character from a low profile sucker becomes someone very useful to the team. Of course if Hiruma-kun was never there, this will not had happened. Overall, I love it. Funny, Exciting and you get to learn about the all time American sport. Recommended!!!  |

yeah.. this anime is good.. but since i haven't watched it recently... i went some link and check out more about this anime review and ratings.. and i found out that the rating are keep dropping and the review are only good only.. i wonder what happened in the middle of episode..

yeah, i remembere when i first read the manga. There was an unknown Kanji in Hiruma's speech bubble. The Katakana for it was "Fu**ing".

So conclusion after reading u guyz' posts, looks like more ppl prefer readin da manga then watchin da anime cz of graphics n storyline ? well, for me graphics in manga surely draws da line but da plot doesnt really changed dat much as far as im concerned. Too bad oni this series is kinda "cold" ......quite difficult 2 search em through torrent tho - i can oni find those subbed from saizen. Too bad im nt familiar wit clubbox. |

VCD is faster than BT because saizen took their sweet time subbing it. I stopped watching eyeshield though, not enough disk space >.> .
It is a great anime to watch, so watch it hehhehe. I thought tokyotosho only got raws? |

To me, eyeshield is a good anime which is underated. Or perhaps the lack of fansubbing makes the impression of underrated-ness.
Very hilarious, fun and entertaing anime. Unlike naruto & bleach which has more fillers than some entire anime series, the fillers here last at most few episodes, so far. Regardless whether you know anything about American Football or not, it is still a recommended anime from someone who appears out of nowhere and post on page 10(currently) in this thread. |

Yes, Eyeshield 21 is a really good anime. Normally, I would not bother reading sports-anime as they are not my type but how Deimon gather all the capalang players and each has their own strength kinda interesting.
I also say this anime is underated and Saizen is taking too long. ~30 eps behind RAW and there's no other underground fansub for this, not even real media video for it...? |

Somehow, there's a cliche in this anime/manga that I find it quite LOL since its been repeated way too many times..

Actually, it's real techniques twisted to look Shounen-y. There is a panel that implies Sena took a quick step back, juked Yamato, then burst forward. It strains the back leg due to the cut and turn, but it's possible. The whole "time travel" shit is actually just Yamato's mind reeling from the quick cut.
"Sweetness" Walter Payton was famous for doing things like that. Sena is modeled after Sweetness. Some people that have played against Sweetness have joked that they saw a ghost whenever he had the ball. Everything in Eyeshield 21 regarding the game itself is real. They just made it look like a shounen sports manga instead of drawing it straight up. Granted, it just means Sena is special as f*** since in real football there hasn't been a guy like Walter Payton in a long time. |

i think this is my 2nd post in this thread...after a long time ago.. it seems this topic is not really active, kinda dissappointing me... and thats why i usually wo to international forum to discuss about es21. hopefully we can make this thread more active from now on...'sembang2' here...discussing about the current story... now about the story so far...i think its a bit weird for the all star japan team, consist of only 2 persons from kansai, specially from teikoku.. though its not suprise because of the character build up and introduction is less about them... |

frankly speaking, i do hope hiruma doesnt get into that all-star team..
or he being selected, but eventually reject it... its because it will be more sweeter, if those 3 (plus kurita and musashi) last match was the most memorable one... that christmas bowl victory.. moreover the last panel doesnt include that two...kurita especially, where he is the strongest linesman notably, therefore its assume mostly junior student will be selected. (but kinda weird how takami can be there, with his 3rd year status, and cmon, he is not that 'star'...) but looking how hiruma even go to america to the press conference, i guess he'll be there...in that all-star team.. |

it should be akaba hayato (bando), the lead blocker... then about the line, yes, its awesome, if we include yamabushi (shinryuuji), then we already have 5 person in lines.. then i afraid there is no room for the huhhuh bros there... maybe jumonji can make it, but not in line position.. |

although i think its not a good plan... even he shines among all the b-teams, that doesnt guarantee victory against the opponents... i mean whats the point to get the man-of the match player if u end up defeated.. now the mystery of mummy man has become more mystery....huhu.. less likely its unsui (as i said earlier),since he is only watching agon throwing away that jersey at the hotel. most likely he is someone who never met agon before. plus maybe its a character who didnt appear for a long time ago.... since sena seems know him long time ago, by hearing his voice... |

they are going to produce mountains of devil bat ghosts in the match. takami won't be able to last long on the Russian team as he's unable to dodge the attack. hopefully the runners (shin, sena, riku and yamato) are able to come back in a nick of time to save takami from getting taken down by Russians |

Do you guys think that this game will be the last for Kurita and Hiruma? I mean Deimon High school policy is, you can't join any clubs anymore after year 2. I'd hate to see that.

i started reading at the part where hiruma tricked sena to show his middle finger and take picture of it for the fight against zokuto chameleons and liked it ever since lulz. its a really great anime although im abit disappointed at the supposedly "world cup" where all of the match are mere fodders before reaching the US. no challenge at all. |

I wished they can continue producing anime for the another half part. When I found out the ending of Anime turned to be like this, I was kinda disappointing.
