What were you trying to do? Mine was working great. I even got it to learn the remote for my astro decoder & my camera's ir remote shutter release! Damn cool....

By the way, the remote app doesn't seem to recognize the signal from my aircon remote. All other remotes are ok. Just the aircon cannot learn. I tried with a few aircon remotes, also the same. Anyone experiencing this as well?

i think autogate runs on radio frequency, not infrared?

I did EXACTLY what you did. The STS failed to recognize the signal coming out from the remote! Damn.... But the other remotes are OK. The TV, the Astra Beyond, DVD player, ceiling fans, even my camera's IR remote! But just not the damn aircon! Grrr......

You will need to use your tablet to learn the decoder's signals first before you can use it on other astro sets.

I used mine mostly for fb & checking forums + browsing. don't do much gaming. i also use it when I am taking photos. it's very good to show examples of how i want the models to pose. pretty neat.

this is rather trivial but why would you want to keep the tablet, unused and not turned on for more than 5 days, unless you are indeed not going to use anymore for a long time (in which case, i think it doesn't really matter whether if the standby time is 5 days or 10 days....)

My Tablet S is draining battery real quick these few days. I can barely get 2 day's worth of usage. It used to last me at least 3 or 4 days. Looks like there are some apps in there that's really draining my battery big time.... guess i really need to reset the whole tablet soon.

maybe i should let my tablet s completely drain off its battery and recharge it again? sort of like "recalibrating" the battery....?

Not sure can or not, but in the easy remote registration wizard, there is an option for Sony home theatre system (they split up DVD based or blue-ray based systems), but it is not model specific, so I am not sure if it will work with your system or not.

Strangely, my Tablet S completely discharged itself 2 days ago while sitting inside my briefcase the whole day. I remember I have at least another 70% battery juice left. When I tried to turn it on, the tablet couldn't even power up. I had to charge it up for about 15 minutes, then only I could power it up. This is the first time this is happening to my tablet. Hmm....

Yes, my wifi is set to always on.... but it had been set this way ever since i got the tablet and had no issues with it at all before this. So why only now it happens? Weird.....

Same here. Not only after you pull the earphone out.... I kena even after I fresh restart the tablet. No plug in earphone or whatever.... also no sound. Have to plug in earphone and pull out, then only got sound. Hahaha.... bug bug bug....
