Update not available for Malaysia yet? .......

Haiz.... when lah the official ICS update is going to come for Malaysia set....

From SD card or from computer?

If from SD card, when you plug the SD card into the sts, it will ask you if you want to transfer or not. Else, you can use a file manager app (i.e. Astro File Manager) found in Play Store to transfer the files manually. If from computer, you will need a USB cable to connect the sts to the computer.

Yeah, it's kinda odd. But then again, it doesn't really cost a lot for that cable. I got a phone that's using the same cable, so I just use that. USB cables are quite common & universal nowadays anyway.

That's odd. Mine is loading up the videos from youtube just fine. No problem or lagging.

If this is true, then

Could be your games actively running some background processes eating up the battery? if you are not playing those games, why don't you uninstall them and see if that helps?

I've never tried turning on the tablet s continuously with wifi on, so i don't think i can answer that question correctly. i just use it normally (check mails, facebook, a little bit of games - about 2 to 3 hours a day max) and usually i will need to charge it about every 2 to 3 days. it definitely doesn't last as long as an iPad2 (I know, coz I also have an iPad2) but to me, it is pretty decent.

Added on May 10, 2012, 4:42 pmGrrr..... I've completed the download of the update file to the tablet, but cannot complete the installation because the tablet will only perform the restart & installation if the tablet is connected to AC power. Argh....! Nevermind, it's almost 5:00 pm now....

Wohooo....! No more boxy web pages rendition in default browser! And typing in lyn is smooth now! And the default music player is finally useful already.

The default web browser in honeycomb sts will have odd looking rectangular boxes when you are scrolling down a page. This is gone now in ics. Much smoother looking. Thumbs up!

How do you do the screen capture ah?

Mine ain't flickering also.

I thought that there is only 1 color for the app drawer... and that is white.

I consider the remote control app function to be really cool!

talk about astro file manager.... do you guys encounter error while deleting an entire folder in the SD card? I have a documents folder in my SD card which I wanted to delete, but astro was unable to delete it, saying that there's an error in deleting the folder. i had tried killing all tasks as well as restarting the STS and then go into astro to try to delete it, still cannot. i open the default file transfer app by Sony and delete from there, no problem. hmm.... weird. maybe astro got issue with STS or with ICS...?
