2nd hand laptops are only good if you can confirm that there's no defects with them... 

You won't be able to get much with that budget unfortunately...
If you're into gaming, then the closest would be to get the Asus A43Ta

1. It will perform gaming better than the SXPS 1640 since it has lower resolution, but the speaker is quite soft if you intend for movies. It also has high temperature when gaming.
2. It has better screen and speaker+subwoofer compared to A42Jv. When comparing A42Jv and SXPS 1640 side-by-side, you can see A42Jv's screen is yellowish. Gaming performance still decent but need overclocking. Temperature can be quite cool after doing some maintenance.

Pretty much no laptop in 2.5K got 2 HDD slot except you take out the optical drive..

Depends the HDD caddy you get, supposedly can use back the lid from the optical drive and attach it to the HDD caddy and it will look nothing change.
HDD caddy is around RM100

Around RM2.5K, try look for Asus N45SF/N55SF nVidia GT555M or HP DV6 with HD6770M
else other choice only comes with the weaker GPU like nVidia GT540M ( Asus N53Sv/Asus A43Sv), AMD HD6730M (Asus A43Sa),

Above 2.5K, Asus G53Sx @ RM 3999

^nope, those laptop is using HDD + mSATA SSD, no second slot for HDD, only for mSATA SSD, the port look alike mPCIe, the one for wifi card.

hp dv6 build quality quite good... =D

well if you are confident with asus then stick with the brand...

lenovo i heard is using crippled GPU so it's better to avoid it...

those laptop if you wan to add the SSD then u sacrifice the dvd-rw and put the SSD over there... or exchange the HDD with SSD...

^Y470/Y570 you can have HDD + SSD + Optical Drive at the same time..

Can put normal SSD, you need to take out the HDD,
so the setup become SSD + mSATA SSD + Optical Drive..

Yup. The GT555M in Lenovo Y570 is just basically a GT550M with DDR5. Its 96SP-128-bit.
While the GT555M in Asus N45SF/N55SF/MSI GE620DX is 144SP-128-bit.
GT555M in Alienware M14x is the better one, 144SP-192-bit.

The Dv6 has 4 speakers right (please correct me if I'm wrong sifu)

You could always buy an external speaker for better sound quality though~

2GB is enough, but having 4GB will make things smoother ~

I don't think so... its too old...
And this model's battery life is very short because it doesn't have Nvidia Optimus iirc...

Up your budget, and you can get a laptop with GT525M which is better than the GT335M
