it's semi-public/semi-private  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif

few regular bands rehearse here.  I'm afraid of opening to public, dunno why. But I'll just focus on recording for the meanwhile
one of the regular band (actually the first band who used my studio)

Cannot brain what you mean semi-public...is it like by invites only? hmm.gif

this setting not really suitable for rock..it's more of fusion and latin kinda setup. you wont get that deep end punch from this kit.

i will probably keep it as 2nd crash...kek kek kekk

I'm getting bored of seeing the same old sh*t being discussed here.

Not everybody has the resources (Read: Money) to get gears all the time. How about we shift the topic to something we can afford to spend: TIME!

#1 How often do you fellow drummers practice a week?
#2 What rudiments, techniques you focus on?
#3 If not, what songs you usually play along with in your practice hours?
*
Taiko...chill la no need marah2 laugh.gif

How often I practice? 1-2hours perday so 7-14 hours per week

My favorites are paradiddles single, double, triple and double strokes. Usually around 140-160 BPM. Techniques ah...Mollar? For my feel I use heel toe...more like ball of foot with toe laugh.gif

What songs...Usually for warm up I play these 3... Solider of Fortune by Deep Purple for slow, It's My life by Bon Jovi and Blackened by Metallica.

I happened to pass by Yamaha's KJ place this morning and saw their banner for a sale from this Fri - Sun. No idea what's on sale, how much of discounts, or if other branches have sale. But if you're looking for something, no harm giving 'em a call.

Yup. It was the technique where you move your ankle side to side when reaching hi bpm. Forgot the name.
I am not doing it right back then. It was fun for a while though before the pain comes.
*
IIRC it's call Swivel technique? hmm.gif Though I prefer flat-foot and heel toe. smile.gif
