Last week, I was lucky to met someone who owns Axis and play with them for the first time.
Too light and it feels weird. Maybe that's normal for somebody who has been using chain drive for years. Axis is just not for me.I am getting my Speed Cobra this weekend.  thumbup.gif

Thanks to those who help with the comments. notworthy.gif

Hope you enjoy your SCs! biggrin.gif

Hey guys I wanna ask what are your thoughts on Mapex Falcon Double Pedal?(Where got sell this pedal?) It looks quite promising IMO.

In my search so far I've tried Eliminators,ICs and SCs. SCs by far my favorite but the price is abit laugh.gif Never mind the price though I plan to get it during the year end sales...

never mind price then just get axis long board
*
How much is that? If over SCs price (1.6k) Then no-no...tried Pearl DD before and don't really like Direct Drives...not my cup of tea. sad.gif

QUOTE(SHOfrE3zE @ May 29 2012, 06:28 PM)
guys, can anyone recommend a Pearl drumset & the best place to get it in Klang Valley?
my budget is below RM5k and hopefully the set is complete which also includes cymbals. tq
*
Let's see 3 ways...

1) Buy used

2) Get higher end drums but lower end cymbals

3) Get lower end drums but higher end cymbals

If I'd were you I'd take the 1st option. biggrin.gif

Hi lowyaters, Any websites that offers a good guide on choosing drumstick? Old amateur drummer here.
*
I'd say choosing drumstick is like choosing shoes need to test by self though generally the size 5A is quite versatile.

After conversion it would be around RM 1580 including shipping. Mahal kah? This the best price I can get around here.
The price I get from Sam Ash Music is USD 614.99 excluding shipping to Malaysia USD75.00 for Axis Percussion AL2 Longboards. Approx. around RM 2183.
*
Not that expensive...RM 1580 around the price, Bentley selling at RM1.6K so okay lah tu. smile.gif

Wa axis longboards so mahal laugh.gif

BTW do you guys know where can I try the new DD? (Chain version) looks gooding brows.gif

Okay, I'm desperately in need of some cash. ;3 HAHAHA. For a limited time only, I'm letting my Sabian Hand Hammered Fusion Hats go for RM650 (retail RM1850) with preference to you guys on the thread as well as a HQ RealFeel practice kick pad for RM100. Anyone interested? HAHA.
*
Oh mai nice price for the hats too bad for me I aiming for a New snare brows.gif Anyways, good luck with that! biggrin.gif Though maybe I wanna get the Kick pad. hmm.gif

QUOTE(sarvinG @ Jun 3 2012, 07:53 PM)
Thanks for the info, Party2DMax. Good point over there. I thought that my cymbals were way to dirty and I wanted it look cleaner, but oh well, let it be that way then. Shouldn't touch them with my hands.

Btw guys, planning to get a new ride and since Zildjian released its 20th anniversary A custom ride, I thought I might get my hand on it. Any review / other suggestion? Its marked at RM1290. sweat.gif

20th Anniversary Ride
*

I maybe a little late...but here's my thoughts on the ride after trying at Bentley. It is basically a brighter version of the sweet ride. IMO the best A custom ride so far, though you might wanna try out Sabian AAX Stadium Ride it's quite versatile good stick sound and very cutting bell.

Interesting, is that your studio? Open for jamming or just a private one?
