Stagg cymbals are value for money, at the higher end lines. I wouldn't touch the lower end ones though. I have played the DH series and the Myra series, and they do seem pretty alright. The lower end ones turn out like most other crud cymbals lahh. But the DH china is one of the best buys ever. smile.gif

trading my AAX crash for a HHX soon biggrin.gif

And besides that, anyone know the shipping fees to ship a drum set from the US to Malaysia?

Do any of you use any smartphone apps for practice or jamming, not just for drums but in general as well? So far i've only purchased an essential one - a metronome app tongue.gif Just wondering what other useful apps are out there.

SBR are beginner cymbals. x)
Expensive tau. xD Cheapest set I would get is USD3000 without shipping. *burn* Might as well get Ludwig Classic MapleĀ  rclxm9.gif

I traded my AAX crash with a HHX and I'm now in a very... weird phase. Its a good cymbals, but the china flange on this particular HHX crash is slightly weird. Heh. The other ones I tried didn't have this. But oh well.

SBR cymbal set for rm800 yawn.gif

guys, i need your advice.

so my kit is pearl target fusion set
sabian sbr 14" hihat, 16" crash, 20" ride
Stagg dh 18" crash.

i was wondering if i have only choose one option to upgrade which should i go for?

1. buy new standard drum set, not fusion + change all heads for the new kit.
2. change all the cymbals except the stagg dh 18" crash + change all heads for the fusion pearl target kit. wub.gif

I'd go for the 2nd choice biggrin.gif

IMO,
With good drummer...not so good drums + good drum heads + good tuning skills = Good Drum sound smile.gif

but my set is fusion... the cymbal sound always overlap the drum sound when i making covers

I'd recommend you to get Evans Hydraulics for your toms, an EMAD for your bass drum. biggrin.gif

The reso, not sure. Maybe a G series one?

I'd recommend the Hydraulics, cause firstly, the tend to stay in tune longer, are very durable, and sound pretty good, even on drums that aren't exactly made of the best tonewoods, because of the plies, and the oil, etc. I've used Hydraulics on many drums, from Ludwig's to DWs, for different sessions, and over and above, its always consistent. smile.gif
