QUOTE(selinix @ Dec 27 2011, 10:04 AM) The appointment is this Thursday in Cheras SC. The guy from shah alam will come over to get it done. My father also found out that there is something wrong with the brake. It sort of vibrates when depressed it. They are going to fix both the airbag and brakes this Thursday. They would take 3 days to fix it. Emergency brake got pulsing issit? ABS ? Or like that fella say... ABS will warp your disc!

QUOTE(Pip_X @ Dec 27 2011, 10:38 AM) This is sinkalingam+lingam already... Scirocco is WAYYYYYY better, a real sport car. CRZ is just a wannabe sport car. Top speed is around 200kmh nia, which takes ages to reach that speed. CRZ topspeed can reach 200kmh or not wor.. or this is another "hit 180 then off aircon, make sure car no spare tire, then drive of cliff to freefall then can reach 200kmh" kinda deal?

QUOTE(Poadster @ Dec 27 2011, 11:33 AM) This is called TROPICAL weather ma..... the sun so hot, no amount of tint can keep the internals cold like fridge..... u put a packet of ice in the open sun, see what happens... BUT.... our car tint and aircon is very very good, left my car under hot sun from 245pm - 5pm, went in and wind down front windows, and let auto AC work its magic.... the internal cool down in less than 1km drive... Oh... the leather seats are not that hot either, more prove that the tint works..... Added on December 27, 2011, 11:35 amCRZ is hai-lat brid ma..... Passat CC better, i cant even catch him at 200km.... ate smoke... Speaking of the aircon... that one.. er.. maybe i need try more.. cause the same day.. I had to turn on the aircon to near max and my wife also commented not so cold... hmm.. maybe need someone to test my car see if got difference or not. Comparatively.. my other Korean/Jap car aircon seems better then this one. Or then again maybe that day just too hot kua. This post has been edited by MeToo: Dec 27 2011, 11:37 AM

QUOTE(Poadster @ Dec 27 2011, 11:53 AM) Dude.... ask the staff for Dato' Sri Haji Syed Zainal Abidin B. Syed Mohamed Tahir (Proton CEO) email, then see their reaction to your car.... I recall that his email address are in the posters inside PE showrooms, but cant remember it... anyone have DSZ email?? If need to, pls write to him in a respectful manner to ask for help, and he will... pls dont simply pelan chiao him in email.... +1 good advice When writing to top management, proper etiquette have to be observed. Then people will take your concerns seriously. Make it sound liek you are a loyal customer who loves proton but is EXTREMELY disappointed etc..

QUOTE(Poadster @ Dec 27 2011, 11:55 AM) What have being reeeeccch associated with sitting in office, lazing off, and bored to hell....@.@...??? If I reeech then i no need cum office 2-3 days each week lor..... Added on December 27, 2011, 11:57 am1.8 AC not that cold compared to 2.0.... U need to turn it to more than halfway in the blue region to get cold air.... for very hot days, turn the dail all the way to the max of the blue (clockwise).... 2.0 AC set at 23 is oredi very very cold, even in hot days..... Eh... my blue is on the LEFT side de wor.. so I kinda need to turn it anti-clockwise to get to the blue blue side. But will test abit more lah... maybe a combination of interioir temp being too hot and car new kua..

QUOTE(Poadster @ Dec 27 2011, 12:02 PM) U driving 1.8 right?? 9 oclock position is borderline cold, u need to turn it more lower to get better coldness.... and yes, you need to increase the blower speed to compensate and cool the cabin faster... 2.0 auto AC takes care of all this..... Ahhh... now I know the crux of the issue le! It boils down to "Poor man buy 1.8 AC also warmer then 2.0 de" What to do... being "too" cheapskate have its downside de

QUOTE(Poadster @ Dec 27 2011, 01:47 PM) It doesnt block the knee at all.... in unlocked position, its flushed with the lower part of the dash, in locked position, it only comes out 5-6inches.... and this also dont hit your knees when you exit or enter the car...
I am 172cm (not that tall) and pull lock the pedal lock before i get out of the car, and unlock it after i close the door upon entry.... and have never hit the pedal lock with my legs or knees...
Best of all, you cant start the car or shift it out of P when its locked.... beats any steering lock anytime.... Hm... i usually use my trusty old solex cluthc lock (which looks like THIS) for manual cars. But this inspira cannot since auto... and cant use the T-rex sterring lock as it looks like will scratch our steering silverish part... Attached thumbnail(s)

QUOTE(Poadster @ Dec 27 2011, 02:05 PM) Its the same concept, u pull the handle and lifts up a metal piece that locks into place, preventing the clutch and brake pedals from being pressed.... The locktech/locktact product is similar, except its now factory build to fit each make and model differently, and you dont need to remove and place that big clutch lock when u need to drive.... its secured to the chassis and is out of the way.... Ok next TT let me poke poke your car see see ya?

This and pedal lock from shorty5, the thief will have to tow my car to curi my car. Bro u using the same steering lock as the one I attached? Hmm.. strange.. I see the way its used looks liek sure scratch... I prefer to have a piece of suck metal in the car lah... never know when we might need something.. er... "solid and heavy"...
