Hows the distortion on the 16-50 a? The tamron at 17mm is a quite bad for close up group shots lol. Or maybe it's just normal for a wide angle lens.

Happy New Year 2012 people!! May this year be the year of hauling with the upcoming full frame and new lenses!!
