QUOTE(arrow @ Jun 6 2012, 11:43 PM) from LFS tank , water lettuce need to buy unless u take the baby lettuce, but i'm having problem keeping both water Hyacinth & water lettuce alive, bro if you got spares, save some for me.they tend to melt and yellow then dies off. Duckweed is superfast grow, need trim and throw them away every alternate day. water hycinth and water lettuce will usually melt if i put them in my shrimp tank, since they like to eat them..and will slowly melt. |

why dont you guys get smaller fishes with smaller mouths, that way, shrimps and baby shrimps will have less percentage of getting eaten
boraras and rasboras are a good start. just dont do it like me, using cherry barbs and bettas as first fishes in my tank, have to pump out a lot of daphnias(even have to start a farm for them) inside it to prevent them getting eaten for the first month, now the wait wait and suspense is finally over |

QUOTE(Malformed @ Jun 12 2012, 08:50 PM) I like guppies very much! I thought of mixing them. Although I have never seen the guppies kill snails, I worry for the shrimps though, anyone's guppies killed shrimps before? i never had fancy guppies in my whole life, except those feeder ones haha, never seen them ate those shrimplets, maybe its just my tank and im overfeeding my faunas? |

QUOTE(arrow @ Jun 14 2012, 10:27 PM) try don't keep many ghost shrimps with dwarf shrimps, ghost shrimps will attack/kill dwarf shrimps if there is not enough food or when molting. i totally forgotten about that, thanks for the tip arrow |
