Any lubang to get it?? i'm looking for cheap fire red also but do some of them give you "Sakura Cherry" rather than "Fire Cherry"? "Sakura Cherry" is second grade better than red cherry shrimp and lower than fire cherry right?

Just ask electrician to help you... the aquazonic ballast is totally useless.. they using marketing tactic or something like that fixed it for you last for few weeks them boom... just ask the electrician to bypass it.. my electrician removed the ballast and bypass it.. low light power... i mean dimmer than with ballast but what the heck... last longer than with ballast..

Any one tested or rear tiger shrimp before? is it that they can adapt to 27-29 c ? googled and mostly show <27c....

Ya.. thats what I heard or see from the net.. just i'm lazy and wanna save cost from doing those experiment.. also tiger shrimp or Caridina cf. seems to be expensive but they have very nice stripes planning to set one aquarium for them hehehe, but if i do experiment straight mostly end up all dead... like what happened to all my red cherry shrimps last time... haiz...

They can clear your dead shrimp too, just leave the dead shrimp there and you'll see only the shell after "the exquisite meal"..

... You all sound like my place is made of oven only... after i got back from work most of the time i see 29c-31c with no fan running but T5 lighting.. The one with lighting and fan can only reach 27c-28c..

Hm.... DIY fan? i'm using 2.5ft aquarium with fan but still can't make it down to 2.6c mostly 2.7c ~ 2.8c. need to on A/C or during heavy rain will only be able to reach 2.6. Still I'm guessing the bigger the fan, the cooler it can get huh


For me yes, almost 0.5L water refill to tanks per day.

If with guppies inside i don't think you have the chance to see the baby shrimp... unless the guppies are baby or <10mm long... also your moss still not dense enough for the shrimps to hide...

For shrimplets they eat them whole don't trust me you can try when you have new born shrimplets... 10mm guppy juvi can do the job... because i thought that 10mm juvi mouth is small and won't be able to fit or swallow the shrimplet... but I saw it with my own eyes because i was trying to see how many shrimplet were born.. transfer all guppies after the "killing act". I only put baby guppy when there is no baby shrimplets or berry mommy, no juvi or adult guppies..

Put more moss for shrimps to hide also berry shrimps don't like fish moving around.. they feel stress or threaten when fish moving around.. oto is ok, best to move the fish away if you plan to breed the shrimps IMO..

Good to hear that if they can get along, too bad i'm not into endler and just got my aquarium wipe out all red cherry shrimp, galaxy danio, otos, mini rasbora and rumble nose all dead... forget the close my water since last Friday and let it WC for 2 days.... hahahaha plant also one kind... turn whitish... hope can save my plants......z.z..z.z

Also Nilufar selling tiger shrimps? or (tagger) zebra shrimps?? saw some and they are not using chiller for those shrimps... and anyone got the stripe shrimps before? wanna know is it tiger shrimp?
