hi newbie here, got some question... is it ok to let the babies( become adult adi) to mix with their own parents in the same tank? ...coz i saw someone mention that it will cause the future generation to become weaker if they breed together...(eg. male father and female daughter) ? u guys mix together or separate them?

guys, im planning to rare some shrimp.

im doing some homework now to confirm that im able to keep them correctly.
kindly correct me if my homework is wrong.
planning to keep max 5 rcs/green shrimp

1) 1ft tank (can use smaller than that?)
2) gravel (any type also can?)
3) sponge filter
4) plants (only some and marimo/moss balls enough?)
5) DIY pc fan (ok or ko?)
6) 25C - 27C temperature
7) ph: 7.0

now i have some question i dun really know the actual answer after googling.

1) you guys use pipe water for your shrimp aquarium?
2) what else i have to look into/put into my aquarium before i buy the shrimp.

right now i suspect ammonia too much, first few days after water change ok. after that started to increase. usually change water once a week. added bacter ball to see if it can contain the ammonia level.

btw, hardness is 3DKH, 6.5PH. is it too soft and acidic?

i got an empty 1f tank, 1f light, and small filter (200-300l/hr).

wanted to start shrimp tank..perhaps with rcs..but i duno how. earlier, i put them in my ada soil, planted tank, and all reported themselves to the lord within 1 week.

i dont want to start wih fire cherry, or others cz expensive..

can any1 advise me how to start up?totall blur with it..
