how do you install it? i downloaded it and the file is .001

Download both parts and extract it with 7zip or Winrar.

it sad it was an unknown file. cant extract it like normal

Check your current BIOS version with CPU-Z and then check driver support page for latest BIOS. Usually come with changelog.

If the fix doesn't concern u then no need to upgrade.

alternatively, without using xternal program, we can always use msinfo32 to check for bios version

no.. thats is where the card reader, audio chip and graphic chip located. main source of heat came from graphic i guess.

just open hardware monitor and compare idle/max temp with and w/out keyboard cover.
