hello guys..its been a long time since i visit this thread..seems like acid is still the man huh? tongue.gif
my DV6 is still serving well after a year 3mths..
some occasional hiccup due to bloatwares causing black screen, restarts, but seldom due to the machine itself..

overall..very good..

anybody did any cleaning on their laptop?
how to clean the fan? my lappie temp is getting higher and higher
*
To clean the HSF you need to remove almost everything except the LCD. ph34r.gif

SSD is solid state drive which performs few times faster than a normal HDD, hard disk drive that comes with the notebook (750gb).  although the price is higher than a normal HDD but its performance is undoubtedly a lot faster.  you won't see those 'spikes' anymore
*
what i want to know is anyone of you experiencing the same thing with me? or only im the one facing problem?
izit normal happen in this DV6 which cost me so much more than normal laptop but it perform lower.

you need to disassemble the laptop to clean the dust.

which bag are you talking about? is it the bags that comes when buying DV6. i'll say no. it cannot fit at all because Notepal U3 is bigger than DV6 itself. hope this will help you clarify some things.

honestly speaking the bag that come together with the laptop is rather small.
Once you put it your laptop plus the power adapter, I don't think there is big enough space to fit it big stuff inside.

agreed! because me myself using the standard HP bag and it quite small. i only managed to stuff my DV6, power adapter, some cables and my mouse. it looks bulky already.

hunting for bagpack right now... hehehe! (quite hard to position your HP sling bag when riding bikes... huhuhu!)

ya, for out of warranty unit. no charges for warranty unit. coz they will disassemble the unit, clean the dust and re-apply new layer of thermal paste. though, sometime it might be the fan not spinning at it usual speed.
