Samsung should hire 3rd party developers like you for specific devices so that it can be better
QUOTE(iori57 @ Dec 20 2011, 05:54 PM)
agree, they could hire just one 3rd party developer for every device they have..
Yeah, too bad Intel hired me as a Microprocessor Design Engineer already

If they do this, I'm sure samsung's devices would be much smoother. Coming from an iPhone, I feel the galaxy s2 isn't as smooth enough, but I can live with it
Added on December 20, 2011, 6:03 pmNot that I know of.
Is it much smoother with ThunderBolt! ?

One more question, can pikachu's thunderbolt be used on G version of S2?

It should work without problems. Be sure to have a nandroid backup handy before flashing, just in case

Instructions
Copy the CWM zip and all the addons you need to your internal sdcard
Mount /data, /system and /sdcard in CWM (IMPORTANT!) (When mounted, it will show "unmount /system" for example. This means that an unmounted partition will show a "mount /system" for the /system partition)
Install using CWM all the CWM zips without needing a reboot in between
Wait for bootup
Open up Script Manager and launch /sdcard/bolt_scripts/remount[device] (e.g. remounti9000) as Root (The skull icon) and as Boot (The wheel icon).
Open up Script Manager and launch /sdcard/bolt_scripts/sqlite_optimize as Root (The skull icon). This script can be used arbitrarily at anytime that you want. Don't load it as boot or copy it to init.d though, it'll significantly slow down your boot up as the script is a very long running script.

PROFIT
i follow this way...am i correct?
when we reboot the phone, we need to do the steps again?
Nope. Just install the main CWM and all the addons in one go, then reboot.
