He is looking at the rams in the "functional perspective" for most users, and disregarding the rest:
i.e. A car is only needed to get from point A to point B, and most people would be fine with that, therefore proton/perodua is good enough. Anything more than that is a waste of money. Performance, aesthetic, ride feel, and etc are all thrown out of the window since those are not the core requirements for a car to get from point A to point B.
Looks like you don't understand what I'm talking about at all. I'm throwing out the performance aspect? I have been requesting for results that show that it does a great deal of change for gamers, yet you still fail to produce anything good. As mentioned already there are things that I'd get performance RAMs for or recommend them yet you seem to be oblivious to what I have wrote. The main thing those who ask for in the HW Q&A section is to get a system to play their games fine, not a system that looks good physically. What do you like doesn't mean it can be applied for others. Does everyone require a BMW like you to drive from Petaling Jaya to Kuala Lumpur? In this case since you want to use cars are a comparison, then lets just say that only the people who are willing to spend a lot more than usual can afford expensive cars ( Performance RAMs ) , while the ones who are looking to maximize the usage of their money spend less and get cheaper cars ( i.e Proton and Perodua ) and get something else instead e.g a bigger house ( better GPU ) as a better investment for their money.
Now disregard the rest since it's TLDR, but refer to my last sentence. How many people in the HW Q&A section have asked people to recommend them something and demanded for something they don't exactly require? For most of the time people are able to find better parts by sacrificing performance RAMs for that particular build, and do you still insist on getting them performance RAMs and toning down on the rest just because you want the system to look good and feel "complete" if that's the case? There are times where we do add in performance RAMs to builds, but those are the moments where we cannot find anything better to squeeze into the build anymore and there is money to spare.
We recommend based on what are the peoples' needs, not based on our own needs. And mind you, external visual modifications e.g bodykit on car are easy to spot as they're not covered by a large towering hunk of metal. How often would a user stare into his system anyway? With most of your recommendations done to the customer,
how would the users of the Corsair 400R and 500R stare into their system without a transparent side panel?

Short version :
1. We do not think that PRs are useless, just that we do not see a need for it in most things in our
beloved section.
2. We'd recommend it if we see a need and there is money to spare.
