for me any latest custom rom for Nexus S is great, for battery draining issue first check on the apps you installed, most of the time is not the rom or kernel fault tho

R u using Go Contacts?

QUOTE(willbeh @ Mar 9 2012, 04:39 PM)
Had a few times (not often though). Two three times when call coming in can't slide to answer.
Pressing the power button to standby and press again to log in seems to work. Even for the incoming call, pressing the power button does not end the call thus can answer the call after that.

I tried my friend's GNex I prefer the bigger screen size, other than not much diff to Nexus S but dual core is definitely more powerful to handle android OS.. my friend use GNex for SMS/Calling & install plenty of those stupid apps only damn it.. yawn.gif

Guys, if you want the best experience with JB, try JellyBelly v0.1.5 rom by AdamG in xda forum. So smooth with good battery life.

neh.. I hardly discharge to 0% doubt that u need to do so for modern batteries, I charge it whenever I saw the cable is around, 1 yr+ ald so far so good, maybe u can try delete battery stat file

QUOTE(kiwlm @ Aug 22 2012, 10:35 AM)
Hey, did you guys do any battery calibration on your battery? I have been doing some poking on my phone, and now I realise that my battery voltage level seems to be quite unstable, looking at those am_battery_level messages from logcat -b events, and its waking up my phone too often.

Was reading and thinking of doing something like
1. drain until auto off
2. on it again and make sure it turns off by itself
3. charge when the phone is off, until its full
4. turn the phone on
5. wait for 10 minutes
6. disconnect the charger.

Its hard to find a 2-3 hours slot where I can charge the phone while its off though, good if I can hear you guy's experience for those who have tried this.
