QUOTE(stormaker @ Dec 21 2011, 04:58 PM)
I called Maxis hotline to ask abt the RM799 promo, how come they told me they never know such promo exist, n asked me to email them with link to their own facebook page ?  sad.gif

According to Brainmaster, BFC for more free ram, CFS for better multi-tasking

QUOTE(TAGreptiles @ Dec 23 2011, 12:14 AM)
What is the meaning of BFS and CFS? Any major difference? Which one to download and use? My Nexus is the i9023 model.  notworthy.gif

Wipe dalvik & cache partition also when switching kernel

I tried Glados 2.5 for a few days, seems stable & battery friendly a lot

QUOTE(VWXYZ @ Jan 1 2012, 02:13 PM)

Y nstool is not recommended?

QUOTE(Bugeca @ Jan 2 2012, 12:13 AM)
Seems that you misunderstood about those apps. You have to find it in the market. Both are not bundle-in with ICUP or any other custom kernel. ICUP developer does not recommend NStool btw.

here is a very good comparison table to Galaxy Nexus
http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPho...0&idPhone2=4219

check out their dimension, weight, screen size, resolution!!, 1080p, cpu, battery!! etc etc..

imo Nexus S is still powerful to handle my daily usage eg GPS, browsing, gaming, email, .. maybe I'll wait until it drop to lower price to buy cause I bought my Nexus S way more expensive..

QUOTE(nyamuk siang @ Jan 8 2012, 11:30 AM)
guys, i hv noob question..what different this model n galaxy nexus..only sd slot?

I believe majority of us are not using any anti virus app, basically you just need to aware of the app permission and download from trusted sources, if necessary just grab any anti virus from market, scan your system then uninstall it, I see no point keeping the anti virus running in the background..

bro r u using sticker or real cf?

QUOTE(mikeeeee @ Jan 10 2012, 11:45 AM)
actually i think in your case, all you might need is a full wipe aka factory reset. You should try that before even downgrading back to gingerbread.

The reason for the upgrade path was to make sure all apps and data are retained but since you already upgraded, nothing much to retain unless you have a nandroid backup when you are at 2.3.3. Then you should restore to 2.3.3 via nandroid, then follow the upgrade path.
anyway, like to share some photos of my 'carbonfied' Nexus S ass tongue.gif

Fits my needs very well as i hate the smudges at the back on the ori shiny black ass. No more smudges now and it doesn't really add any bulk or change the shape of the phone
