hi guys. I bought 3 units of Galaxy Nexus S (local Maxis/Samsung sets) 3 days ago. Got a problem with 2. See, all 3 of them came with stock 2.3.3. I powered on all 3 units and connect them to my WiFi network. 1 unit immediately ask me to update the device to 2.3.6, reboot, and the very next day, a message saying a new update (ICS) is available. The other 2, no such luck. Still on 2.3.3 until today. So I have 1 unit running stock ICS, 2 units running 2.3.3 GB. What do you guys think? Why wont the 2 units update, even to 2.3.6?
Hope my Q not to confusing. Thanks |

QUOTE(fcuk90 @ Dec 21 2011, 01:35 AM) i dunno why the OTA wont come thanks for that. its weird indeed. i tried everything, it still say the phones are up to date but , you can grab the OTA file from the xda and flash it yourself to the 2.3.6 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1063664 anyway im thinking bout going straight to ICS. so if i download this (the bolded one): Android 2.3.3 (Build GRI54/XXKB3 Radio/KA3 Bootloader) 2.3.3 (GRI54) -> 2.3.4 2.3.3 (GRI54) -> 2.3.6 2.3.3 (GRI54) -> 4.0.3 it should be safe ya? QUOTE(HoNeYdEwBoY @ Dec 21 2011, 02:14 AM) haha! nice to see ur screenshots! yeap, that guy said he's browser lag in ICS, i think i get now what he means by showing "white boxes". because somehow current browser using different method of rendering the page, so if ur net is farking slow, it will show up "white boxes" at a long time, if ur net is damn fast, then it will straight away rendered whole page, i've tested running on desktop mode, when u zoom in and zoom out, it will take some time to load the page thus it renders that so called "white boxes".. its no lag, just low net speed. |

Guys, do you notice that ICS give better battery life. I charge it to 90% at 10 pm, and 8 hours later (6am) it's 87%. For my phone, it's better than GB. (idle battery usage)

Anyone with Nexus S Android 4.0.3 + Maxis able to send MMS? Seems like I can receive MMS but not sending, and I heard it's a bug in this ICS build. Anyone experience the same?
